  1. Because there are 20 douchier dudes than him and 20 is the limit.
  2. I replaced three of the lesser entries with Kent, Bonds and Cobb. Totally spaced on those tools.
  3. Yeah I struggled. Almost went with him or A.J., but went with Papelbon.
  4. and if I left anyone out, post them here.
  5. Of course, Bryce Harper will be on this poll.
  6. Pujols, Hamilton, THE REST OF OUR LINEUP sans Trout/Calhoun < Ryan Howard. I doubt we even trade for him, but he's leaps and bounds better than what we have. The only way I get behind this is if the Phillies give us Revere and pay some of his contract AND we don't have to give up a top prospect. Under those parameters, I'm fully on board.
  7. I say yes.. He's much better than what we have. Howard is just a throw in and MUCH better than Joyce/Cron/Navarro/Cowgill. Like tdwag said, you get them to throw in Howard and pay some of his salary and get a leadoff hitter and slugger. Laugh at Howard not being man enough or have enough power to hit a ball out of Anaheim stadium. IP, not everything can be explained by advanced stats or even logic. Sometimes a change of scenery helps. Sometimes players hit better at home and it has no bearing on the dimensions. To say Howard doesn't have enough power to hit a ball out of Anaheim is laughable.
  8. Speaking of Tyler DeLoach: In 59 games appeared in, 45 starts, DeLoach has struck out 296 batters over 274 1/3 innings, while holding opposing batters to a .202 BAA. his ERA over that span is 3.08, with a solid 1.14 WHIP career. This season he hasn't missed a beat, boasting a 2.00 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and holding opposing batters to a .196 BAA. What's NOT to like about DeLoach? He doesn't throw 98 MPH with movement like Richards, but he's around 89-93 MPH with his fastball, has average to above average secondary stuff.
  9. Cool, thanks. I too have pulled a lat muscle. I felt it for 6-8 weeks before it finally went away on its own.
  10. Too many AW members with ADD. They want the cliff notes version.#lazy Nice writeup btw. Blog worthy.
  11. I like Lind and think he can be had for relatively cheap, but Parra is a slightly better lefthanded version of Cowgill. Great arm and defense. Not much power, decent speed.
  12. I'd be happy with a Howard/Green platoon at DH.
  13. I'm down with this scenario as well if we don't have to give up top prospects and Philly pays a chunk of Howard's salary. Howard hit another dinger last night and went 3-5.
  14. "The Angels have been scouting Revere for some time and like him, but the Phillies and Angels have not agreed on compensation."
  15. I like Revere, but I hope it's not for Bedrosian.
  16. No. I ain't got time for that. Though the few times I've seen Fallon it was funny and refreshing. Was never a Letterman or Leno fan. Johnny Carson was fantastic back in the day.
  17. Speaking of Baldoquin, what kind of injury is he nursing? When is he due back?
  18. I'm sure he'll blame Arte, his wife and the fans in Anaheim for his failures here when he rakes for the Rangers.
  19. With the A's tanking hard, maybe go after Reddick?
  20. Get him to waive that stipulation in his contract or no deal. Guarantee him a starting job if he waives that stip because Olivera, Seager, Crawford and Puig will be with the ball club this season.
