When you guys say “winning helps chemistry” I think you’re talking about “camaraderie.” Yeah, people are happier when they win and they get along better. 
 
That’s not really what the story is about. I think it’s more about players motivating each other, helping each other, supporting each other, etc. 

If they both do well Barreto could become a really nice trade chip too.

Good teams have 10 starting caliber players. If Barreto and/or Rengifo could become one, that'd be a huge boon for the Angels.

That was a really fun game to watch. For the first time in a long time it felt like old school 'Angels baseball' - good base-running with guys in motion and stolen base attempts, scoring runs on outs, tight defence, hitting to all fields. The pitching was pretty good too (how much are we paying Cobb again?). Loved it. Hopefully a sign of things to come and a fun season ahead.  

I'm telling you guys, Angels rotation has been pretty underrated, even by local fans. I think Cobb gets his ERA under 4.00 this year. I believe Cobb, Bundy, Ohtani and Canning are going to be very good this year. 
Sneaky good rotation, solid defense unit, good depth and some team chemistry to go with it. Minasian may have done a low-key solid job this winter. 

That was a really fun game to watch. Just keep targeting upside collegiate starters. Get another Detmers or Rodriguez type of arm in the system, someone that'll be ready along with Kochanowicz in 2024. Use your second round pick on a starter too.
Then wash, rinse and repeat in the 2022 and 2023 drafts and this organization will finally have the pitching depth and upside that it needs on the mound.

I think if I had Bryce's talent, I probably would've done the same thing. He's going 1-1 no matter what, it's better to go 1-1 at 17 and be in the majors at 19 versus go 1-1 and be in the majors at 20. 
It may not seem like that big of a difference, but ultimately, it meant reaching free agency as a 25/26 year old instead of 26/27 year old, and the resulting difference is what, 30 million dollars probably? 
Smart move.

I'd imagine that Barreto has the edge over Rengifo since Barreto is out of options.
I hope that Lagares beats out Jay, as he's a massive upgrade defensively. I'm still a little concerned that Maddon opts for Jay over Lagares because of his familiarity with Jay.

A few things to mention, 
1. Rengifo and Barreto have looked really nice, hopefully one is able to breakout ot becomes a Super Ul
2. Lagares has won the backup Of spot and he deserves it
3. Quintana and Cobb both have shown improved Velocities, which is a postive and i am looking forward to them pitching
4. Walsh has been amazing and hopfully is the starting 1st base man (probably not). But he looks like the real deal
5. Rojas another dominating spring hopefully he get a shot.

And even if I did find it deeply offensive I still think others have more of a right to see it and enjoy it than I have a right to ask for it to be banned. I despise this snowflake driven cancel culture, it's going to lead to a very vanilla world.

It is what it is as everyone seems to be offended all the time. I don’t think that’s ever going to change. I remember the days when you didn’t like something then you just didn’t watch it and you moved on. I remember my mom wouldn’t let me watch threes company but she also didn’t write the company and complain that their content was inappropriate.  We also didn’t have social media to whine and bitch on so nobody else gave a shit about your opinions on things. Now everyone has an audience. At least Disney didn’t completely remove the movies and I think they really couldn’t as I’m sure many subscribers really like the classic Disney stuff and that is their reason for subscribing.

The decimal system was created in Asia around 3000 years ago, then via the Egyptians and Phoenicians was brought to Europe around the time of the early Roman empire. I can't remember where I learned this but apparently we counted in 6's before that, hence 60 seconds and 60 minutes, a dozen, a gross etc are all divisible by 6.

I remember Steve Yeager complaining about Wilhelm when I was a kid. If I remember correctly, Yeager had a special mitt made just to catch Wilhelm.
