  1. I strangely don't mind her. Makes sense with kids and dropping that chick in jail was boss. But whether it's Carmella Soprano, Betty Draper, or Skyler White people simply dislike the spouse that has to deal with the ramifications of the husband while they just want a normal family.
  2. Any chick going through or just had a break up.
  3. For median families. http://blogs.wsj.com/developments/2013/10/10/where-can-the-middle-class-buy-a-home/?mod=e2fb
  4. Just caught up. Funny to read the thread since and see the tune changes and wring predictions ala the Breaking Bad thread. I actually really like this season, but I like the gang/crime aspect. It's slowly becoming more than just to waste an hour. I liked last season too. They keep the turns coming. My only negative is the chessey chase scenes when they play music and looks more like a circus than some tense moment. I'd also normally get tired of this same formula every season, but they make it work some how......bike gang, sherrif, some big wig dea/FBI/district attorney that is the season main antagonist while the bike gang holds off some other rival gang or syndicate. But the turns are there. I like the business side and chess like moves between gangs and characters. It has its lame moments but is still pretty good. I'm also in the boat that somehow just wants the whole Gemma/Rachel Menkins from Mad Men/Sopranos chick arc to go away. The gang and business stuff is cool, the internal family drama isn't.
  5. Without looking at numbers I'd rather have Moore
  6. ha. I just saw someone posted the game day watcher guy. Sounds worse on twitter which I thankfully don't use, but that asshole that is watching the Monday Night Football game with the rest of America that has to post every play. "Big first down right there!", "NY really needs to score on this drive" The people that actually care are watching the same game, champ. The ones that aren't don't give a shit. Nothing like stating the obvious for your buddies to like and agree in the comment section.
  7. On a side note, the first week/week and a half blow when serious. I'm still not normal from this morning.
  8. I actually might go with JAX. Listening to some pros where it's the pros that knocked the line down to 27. It might actually do the typical drop to 26 before late casual fan money comes in on Denver and settles at 27ish. The numbers say take JAX, the brain says take DEN. Only one team since the 70's has covered a 20+ spread.
  9. Anything without moderation is too much. I get it, people want me to join their political stance, go to their church, join their crossfit group, and eat paleo. All while posting pics of getting hammered the night or weekend before.
  10. I got rid of the emos and venters years ago. The last one to get it was a chick that constantly updated her wedding process more than daily. What made me snap delete was about 4-5 days before the wedding she posted something like, "It just hit me I'm going to be Mrs. _______." Constant kid pics, at least the abusers, are annoying.....except for Victors kids which I actually like. Two people are on the chopping block. The dramatic keep me in your thoughts and prayers person about a standard ankle surgery they broke while drunk and another who does a double whammy of inspirational quotes and food pics or actually any pic with six to eight hashtags. But really only the abusers annoy me that post every menial thing up multiple times and spam the news feed. I don't use it much but probably the sporadic past year has been about three or four food pics and pics of my dog where the most recent ones were the lady dressing him up in various Halloween costumes that were so gay that they were awesome.
  11. Where to begin with this one. I'm not on any of them much if at all and have a bunch, this thread and just talking about them emphasizes it. 710 was talking about this earlier, mainly twitter, and how it's making society cynical, snarky, and just overall assholish where people find it cool to try and one up everyone or post the funniest twitter things like some sort of accomplishment.
  12. Possible. Part of the reason I did the lemonade one was just to reset and it's amazing how the third day I was just alert and energized....the second time I was going to the gym because of the energy where I thought I'd be depleted. It may indeed be the fact my body simply processed everything by day three.
  13. I didn't mention, but Blarg you looked noticeably thinner when I saw you at Bootleggers from when I last saw you which I believe was the 2008 clincher against Boston at Throwbacks. That wad the first thing I noticed when everyone said hi. Adam, what do you do to clean out the system? I've done it three times but always am interested in something new. I've done the lemonade fast dealio twice and liked it. And before I started my cycle last year I did some herbal one that lets you eat normal, but the pills really do an internal cleaning. Didn't notice much, but the point was to clean the liver and strengthen before the roids. I ask because I need to do the same.
  14. I'm nit around the main forum enough to correlate, but can infer that this is probably not good.
  15. Very, very good article. Easy read and comprehension for those of us that don't know all the saber stats, but would like to quantify them to the teams performance. Looking forward to more articles, Greg.
  16. Thanks for going under the bus. Good luck selling insurance.
  17. I'd probably do that deal. not sure how keepers work, but you're getting value from the disparity in dollars and rice is done. I'd rather take the risk with Jones and if it works to your advantage money wise, even better.
  18. haha you guys sound like the chiefs fans of years past. plenty of talent doesn't equate to 0-5. the o-line sucks, no RB, and no lb corps that needs to bring in an out of shape guy. not to mention how poor the d is overall.
  19. do people really pair beers? are book clubs and veapas next? enjoy by 10-25 on tap at Slater's. smoother than most stones, but I think I'm over them. especially with everything James has given me recently. with all the breweries popping up the past few years there is no reason to have a brash and pungent ale unless it's your gig. it's really harsh on the palate after Alpine or El segundo.
  20. had an lcl sprain from a soccer game (and blowing dudes while watching Willow) and was out about a month. started back yesterday and decided day 2 today would be the right time to jump back into Spartacus and do three sets instead of what I remember as two. lol. have been eating better to gear up and need to kick the booze to report back in a month or two with Adam like results.
  21. ha. about 10 years ago my buddy was doing some firefighter medic program/intern and would go into the stations and dudes would be hooked up and wearing oxygen masks. too many coors lights at the river.
  22. Oh, and the morning after I'll drink BCAAs which is a workout supplement but does wonders for the morning after as well.
  23. Someone posted up a YouTube video that was actually pretty solid....things like electrolytes and sugar for your blood sugar levels and insulin. Sadly (or not sadly), I don't even get hangovers anymore no matter how much I drink. The worst that happens is I get a fever that need about 1600mg of ibuprofen over the course of about four hours. If I'm lethargic it's because of the hour I ended up going to bed. It's a gift and a curse. Hangovers are the worst and I'm glad I don't get them, but the tolerance brings about many expensive nights.
