Doc is right. I've met him on two occasions, once in the player parking lot after a game with Vlads family and once when Chuck gave me a press pass and I spent all day at the stadium....I had limitations but saw enough of him to back my initial assessment. He's nothing like he is with the media. He seems to have a switch and is almost tiresome of the same dumb questions over all the years and just gives the minimum answers to get through it. He is gregarious and the life of the party. He jokes about his weight and eating lasagna, so he can laugh at himself and is a funny guy.

I laughed about the Santana and Rodney posts. Rodney is average to garbage....I'll never understand when people say he killed it when he left like all the years before don't count. If Santana has three consecutive solid years I'll give the failos that, but not one year after leaving like that's his career.

It's not even close comparing the two. There are no huddles or switching player personnel where the clock is running during down time where dudes are standing around. There's legit studies on actual play in sports, I'm not making this up. And play that is stopped in soccer is accounted for and played at the end of each half. Don't go NFL super fan and act dumb with calling it "just passing back and forth" when you're in the soccer threads giving Chelsea play by play updates of scoring chances and goals. Entertaining is subjective, more action isn't. I actually have no idea why I responded. Your post is laughable and incorrect on many fronts.

I don't mind the Dodgers. Grew up watching them and Kevin Gross's mustache. I don't have the hate others here do and think it's cool for friends that like the team. Not partial to their fans, but we have assholes too. If not the Pirates I'd like a west coast team to win it.

I'm intrigued to see this with reviews. I'm not big into special effects or want it to be the main reason to see it though. I prefer depth and substance. Something with a great storyline similar like Willow.

It did remind me of the Chiefs last season of everything that could go wrong did. Just glad the Angels didn't have to deal with a murder-suicide at the stadium.

The whole clock play is stupid with when they decide to stop it or let it run based on what point of the game it is. A three hour game that only has 11 minutes of actual play.
