I have already turned the page, and Ohtani was my favorite player.  Ohtani is where he wants to be and so be it.
Let’s get back to making the best possible decisions to improve this team given where the team is now.
 

Difficult to say, but I suspect you're correct. I also think Perry is happy with the move. Two reserves for two reserves, but ours are now 7 million cheaper.

He doesn't need to visit a city. He's played in Toronto plenty of times. He went to Dunedin to speak with their front office and to see the Spring Training facilities, which are excellent. 
Ohtani is en route to Toronto to sign his contract.

This team needs to keep their pitchers -- not trade them.  Hoarding pitching is a trait they need to have engrained in their organizational philosophy.
