So far this offseason it's definitely been the Braves. **It's also been us in the past**
The Giants and Dodgers

Say what you like about the Dodgers but I have to admit that they do what it takes to win.
That is very true and the Angels do what it takes to lose. Arte should change the teams name to bad news Angels of Anaheim

The front office geniuses are impressive with the latest acquisitions. Solidifying 5th place seems to be their focus.
Well they want the Angels to come in last place. I know I’ve said it before but Arte needs to sell the team. He just a stubborn mule who won’t go over the budget, or fix the team. The team is the same every year not spending money to get good players and plug up the holes that the team needs. They always get cheap crap players just to complete the team. I sure hope the Angel fans boycott the team and not go to the games and send a message to the stubborn mule that enough is enough and we won’t take it anymore.

I mean at that point I'd rather get Greinke
The Angels don’t give a crap about the pitcher the could be 1 win 20 loses and still sign them as long as they are cheap to get. They would by stupid as Tyler Anderson is not going to do crap to help get the Angels into the playoffs

Shit Arte just needs to sell the team. It is the same year after year getting crap players. It is funny that they Angels cry they won’t go over the budget, well stop giving money to crap players, I mean 2 million, 4 million and 3 million adds up fast for crap. I wish he would just sell the team. I can’t believe 2 million for a player that can’t even hit and a average that is higher then his weight.

Someone tell Minasian lockout is over
Minasian and Reagins are related, wonder if Minasian is going to ever wake up or be late like Reagins was trying to get Otis Nixon and cried

I’m tired of these damn players wanting more and more money. I wish they could be out here and making 2,000 dollars a month and see how it feels. There are people out here that can’t afford to by things they need or want and can’t have unlike these little crying bitches. They have a nice mansion like house with theater in them, bowling, tennis and basketball court. They have like 3 cars Lamborghini and other expensive cars and they cry like they need more money. They need a cap and stop this crap where trams can’t afford to get great players.

Short hand prediction....I think they'll spend around 20 million more in payroll, and that's it. No breaking the bank, but a modest 10 million increase in payroll from one of the wealthiest owners in baseball.
1. They'll sign Ryan Tepera for 2 years, 12 million. He came up with the Blue Jays when Perry was there and he's fashioned himself into a pretty consistent, decent reliever. Solid 6th or 7th inning option.
2. They'll trade Brandon Marsh, Jaime Barria and Jack Kochanowicz to Cincy for Sonny Gray + 5 million dollars. It says a lot that Minasian was dangling Marsh at the deadline for pitching, and with Barria out of options and able to step into the Reds rotation, and Kochanowicz's upside, it's a no brainer for the Reds. They'll kick in 5 million to basically make Gray's next two seasons 10 million even.
Rotation lines up as Ohtani, Syndergaard, Gray, Lorenzen, Sandoval and Suarez.
Detmers and Canning in AAA.
3. They'll trade Orlando Martinez and Oliver Ortega to Toronto for Reese McGuire, who will backup Max Stassi behind the dish while Thaiss develops in AAA.
4. They'll sign Tommy Pham for one year, 4 million.
If the GM does that trade Brandon Marsh, Jaime Barria and Jack Kochanowicz to Cincy for Sonny Gray + 5 million he should be fired on the spot.

first off, Cohen has the ability to depreciate salaries in he first 6 years of buying the team which Arte doesn't have anymore and second, it's dumb to look at someone's net worth and assume that indicates in any way, shape or form that they would take any part of that and chuck it down the drain. Or in other words, they're likely billionaires because they have a pattern of not willingly pissing away millions if they can get away with it or even making money off their investments.
I wouldn’t mind signing Carlos Correa but not for 10 years which Arte should have learned with the Albert contract for 10 years. If Carlos Correa would go for 4 or 5 years which I know he won’t then I would sign him but not for 10 years.

I can just see it now when Arte took out a girl on a date and she said she wants a good steak dinner and he says I have a budget and won’t go over 10.00 so I’m taking you to MC Donald’s, take it or leave it.

Well Kershaw is a dog ass bitch, How many big games has he won? also injured all the damn time, just getting out of bed he gets injured. I wouldn't want his ass on the Angels, stay with the crappers

I guess Arte wants to be the first Angels owner to lose 100 games

Watch Texas get Stroman, guess Arte will be glad to be in last place.

Doesn't matter who the GM is. This team will suck until Arte sells. I've slowly but surely had my love for watching MLB fade away and I'm at the point where I'm likely to switch my favorite team. I'll give it the rest of the offseason, but honestly we've seen it all before. Angels are the biggest joke in baseball and I'm starting to agree they should trade Ohtani. If they really don't get a top tier pitcher, which at this point is just Stroman, they need to trade Ohtani (which I know they won't do because of marketing) because he'll just be wasting away here.
I've always scoffed at people with the stances I've just taken above, but I'm done with it. Sick of constantly being let down by an owner who can't get out of his own way. Sick of spending time and money giving a shit about a team that doesn't give a shit about it's fans.
And Trout poor guy all the years he has given for this fucked up cheap ass owner
Are you big mad that Arte has not had a press thing in the last 2 years ?

What is he going to say, we have a great team and we signed a few peanuts to upgrade a bit. They have not really done anything or signed anyone worth doing a press conference.
