Big halo news coming this afternoon or evening.
Yeah that Arte saved a lot of money with geico and has money for his fuel for his yacht.

For all those who are upset, I mean, we did just sign Syndergaard. Syndergaard, in terms of stuff, is probably better than every FA SP out there with the exception of Scherzer.
If he stays healthy which we don’t know or does he have a set back.

Arte just needs to sell the team, us fans go through this crap every season and tired of it. The fans spend money to see the team but yet he never wants to spend money that will take him over the budget or has to pay a fine. They have uptons contract that expire next season and will be over for 1 year.

I mean i’d be disappointed but also because I’m a sicko pain piggy I would find it incredibly hilarious if the Angels are bridesmaids again this year on all these guys. Ah well. Hope for the best. Snydergaard is a great get if he’s the big pitcher we end up with. The Angels have other problem areas to address as well and starting pitching is arguably not the biggest issue any more. I have no idea what’s going to happen. We’ll see.
the angels have conditioned me to be like this. It’s their fault. Not my fault.
Yeah it’s the same thing every year. They have a player they want and the player blows shit out of their mouth that they want to play with the Angels they are a good fit and they have great players, just to sign with someone else. The Angels then say they tried but they wanted to much money and that will be it, another disappointing free agent chance gone down the drain.

I’m mixed on it but
angels are gonna have to overpay to get talent here. This isn’t a top destination at the moment. Especially with players that want to contend
I’ll take this one year deal over any one year deals to a lot of the bargain picking they’ve done in the last
I’m pretty sure that Scherzer. Will stay with the Dodgers. I just hope something happens soon as I’m tired of waiting to see who they sign.

I think Ray goes back to Toronto, Gausman back to Giants, Mad Max to Dodgers and that leaves Stroman. So many teams going after starters not as easy as saying need to get one of those 4. That is plan A but may have to go to plan B.
It will be like every year and go with plan D

Don’t pay for saves. Sign Scherzer.
Yeah and then have the relievers blow the save because we got Scherzer. We need someone who is going to save the game or what difference does it make who they sign.

And when he pitches 25 innings this year? I guess everyone will just chalk it up to bad luck
Ok, so what if the Angels signed him to 3 years like people want and he pitches 25 innings like you said. We would be screwed. I think a 1 year is good so he can prove himself to be health, then if he is sign him to a longer deal.

What a bunch of BS by Dodgers manager. I didn't get to see the game but check sports score and it showed the Dodgers scored a run and had runners at 3rd and 2nd and no outs if I'm correct and they couldn't move them along. All they needed was a squeeze bunt and 1 run could have scored and runner to 3rd and a fly ball or slow roller score another run. I blame it on the manager, and the reliever that came in for Atlanta did a great job and strike out the side. I damn sure glad the Dodgers lost.

I was almost hoping that Pollock would single so that the Dodgers would be facing elimination with Albert Pujols being the only thing standing between them and the golf course. It would have been fitting for Albert to ground out and not even be in the frame by the time that the throw got to the first baseman.
Would be more fitting for him to strike out

Plus he's old and could fall off a cliff soon.
Dodgers would get his blue eye, and we'd get his brown eye....
He would fit right in with the Angels

Do you know if the Angels are doing anything to address this issue @Jeff Fletcher?
Or do you at least know who is in charge of the Angels defensive alignments?
Is it Maddon, the bench coach, the infield/outfield coaches, or the front office?
All of the above

Currently, management is doing their evaluations and making their plans. So this offseason they want to make plans A,B,C & D happen. But, more than likely they make plans Q,R,S,T happen.
It will be XY and Z that they end up with

It seems the Angels give a player a new contract and they seem to choke.

Sell the team, Arte Moreno!
You’re freaking 75!!!!
You’re as bad as the other senior owner, Peter Angelos!
Then, new owner, new FO, new manager and coaching staff, and better/increased scouting presence!
I agree 100% our scouting staff has to be the worst in MLB

What is going to change next season, after SIX losing seasons in a row????
NO OTHER MLB team can claim that since 2016!
This franchise is almost a total mess.
Outside of Ohtani, Walsh, and the farm, what is there to look forward to?
Horrible team health!
Horrible FA signings!
Horrible defense!
Horrible manager!
Proud of yourself, yacht fuel Arte?
I hope they fire fucken Madden, one season and I’m already tired of his ass and stupid decisions he makes.

I wonder if the Angels are close to giving up the most home runs in a season. They sure have given up a lot.

Yup, like I said in another post Fucken Arte needs to sell the team. Jackass can’t even outbid fucken Seattle. To bad we can’t send in a petition to MLB to take the team away from Arte the cheap ass owner.I hope the fans picket and not go to any games at all. I remember when he got the big TV contract and we thought he would get some players to help the team, instead he give a big contract to a pitcher we don’t even know will make it through the whole season.
