Between conference re-alignment and the transfer portal, college football fucking sucks now. It pains me to say this, because it’s easily my favorite sport. The Big 10 and SEC “super” conference bullshit has taken away beautiful rivalries, and worse yet, it has killed the Granddaddy of all the bowl games, the Rose Bowl. The Pac 12 is in seriously deep shit, and may even cease to exist in the very near future, all in the name of the almighty dollar. It sucks. And I miss @Lou

I’m sure the doctors have to wait for the swelling and bruising to go down before anything definitive can be made. The fact his vision is good, is a promising sign. I’ve had my nose severally broken by a bad hop grounder in college that never fully healed correctly, despite 5 surgeries. The thing Ward is going to have to overcome is the mental scarring that happens, post injury. It’s extremely difficult. Some recover, some don’t. I know in my case, I never fully recovered from it, and I never played the game competitively ever again. I played beer league softball (which can be very competitive also) but never baseball.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I have a few trail cams near my house in Big Bear. Well with the recent warm weather, the wildlife activity around my house has really picked up this last week. Caught a few cats, and a bear behind my house.
