  1. Can’t wait to see everyone again. @Tankcant wait to meet you. Thanks again @Chuckster70and thank you @Jamesfrom helping to set this up.
  2. That’s a great story about Frank Tanana, but why are you bumping a thread about Mike Trout’s back injury to tell it? I loved Tanana, by the way.
  3. While I understand his frustration for failing to come through in a clutch situation, the fact was the pitch was too close to take. It wasn’t a bad enough call to lose your shit on, especially in the 9th inning of a tie game. If anyone needs to get tossed in that situation, it’s the manager, and even Nevin didn’t come out to protest. Thaiss will learn from this, and it all worked out in the end.
  4. Too bad Jimmy Herget wasn’t. The dude just cannot go without letting inherited runners to score, usually on a 0-2 or 1-2 pitch.
  5. Gotta give Loup some credit tonight. He pitched a great 10th inning and stranded that guy at 3rd. It’s not often we get to say it, but Loup did his job tonight.
  6. That’s the best inning of work I’ve seen Loup pitch since………forever. Great work there.
  7. Way to compound your whiff, Thaiss by getting tossed out. Holy crap
  8. Hell yeah Angels!!! Way to battle back, Moore. Awesome
  9. And there it is. The Angels trifecta. Bad base coaching, inherited runners score by the pen, and now the defense comes in and errs in the 9th inning. Sigh
  10. What a terrible at bat by Escobar right there. Took 3 strikes down the pipe.
  11. I couldn’t see it, but did Ohtani leave Rendon hanging on a high 5 after his homerun tonight?
  12. It sure seems like the Angels have left more than 6 runners on base in this game, but that’s what the scoreboard says. Seems like more than that
  13. Even the Yankee fans in our section are still buzzing about Ohtani’s HR, and they are blasting Boone.
  14. I was watching him after he hit it, and I saw him flip the bat in the direction of the Yankee dugout, but I never saw him stare into the dugout at all.
  15. Not exactly a coaching clinic being exhibited tonight by either team and their assistant coaches.
  16. Walk, stolen base, wild pitch, Sac fly. The anti-Angels
  17. Severino entered todays game with an ERA over 7.00 and in his last 3 games, it’s been over 10.00. Once again, the Angels are the remedy that cures all ills.
