  1. I wish Ohtani spoke good enough English (and Rengifo also) that he could walk into the dugout right now and tell Rengifo to fuck off with that lazy ass shit. That was bullshit, and Ohtani knows it. A leader wouldn’t put up with that shit, but Shohei wouldn’t say it.
  2. 2 fucking defensive brain fades have cost the Angels 2 runs. Son of a bitch, this is what separates the Angels from legit contenders. So stupid.
  3. It’s our game day message board. It’s my opinion. Normally, I’d be at the game, but I’m not today. I don’t normally get to listen to the play by play. It’s not a big deal, but to have a guy who’s never played the game tell 2 guys who have how to manage his regiment is dumb. Both guys probably wanted to tell him that. That’s all. Honestly, I could really give a fuck. Wait until you meet @Angel Oracle
  4. If you’re talking to me, thanks. If you’re not, that’s cool also.
  5. I’m not a guy that likes to rail on the announcers, but I wish Patrick O’ Neal would just shut the fuck up when he’s talking to Mark Langston and Tim Salmon about what it’s like to be a big league ball player and what it’s like to condition during the season. It sounds like both Langston and Salmon literally want to tell him to shut the fuck up when it comes to Ohtani and his regiment. Seriously, shut up.
  6. We’re still talking about the Angels, correct? OK. Just checking.
  7. You could also add Freddie Freeman to that list of Atlanta Braves also that didn’t need many rest days, and he’s carried that over to the Dodgers. Freeman has only missed 10 days in the last 5 seasons. That’s pretty awesome. I guess winning games makes guys want to stay on the field more. He’s not a Braves player, but Mookie Betts seems to find a way to play almost every game also, a year younger than Mike Trout.
  8. My wife and I saw the last show that Ranking Roger did for The English Beat before he died. It was at The Cave in Big Bear. Crazy, he died like 3 days later. Im glad these bands still play, it just sucks how old we all are getting.
  9. @Jay@T.G., saw that you guys were checking out the band X, and saw that they are playing the OC Fair in a couple weeks. The wife and I are heading over to check it out.
  10. Last year during the catastrophic losing streak, the body language and overall make up of the team was very evident. I go to a lot of games, and saw it up close. I don’t have access to the clubhouse like Jeff Fletcher does, so maybe Jeff can give us more insight, but this team looks exactly like the same team that went through that losing streak. This team, with the EXACT same issues as last year….injuries to their main players, questionable coaching, inconsistent pitching in all phases, poor defense, etc is like looking in last years rear view mirror, except with different players. I had high hopes this year, despite brutal losses early in the season, but that game in Kansas City, at least to me, was the catalyst of what is going on. It was a demoralizing loss, and again, IMO, was the beginning of the end of the first half of this season.
  11. It’s pretty amazing that a team with so much “potential” in past seasons has so many examples of fans frustrating seasons to choose from. And 2023 is still unfolding.
  12. There have been so many frustrating years but 1995 has to be at the top. After winning it all in 2002, I thought we had a chance to win it all again very soon. The team teased us with several division titles, but just couldn’t get over the hump. Last years losing streak was absolutely brutal and I rank that in the top 3, but nothing tops 1995.
  13. The Angels are that 2am, drunk, chubby slumpbuster you hope your buddies don’t see you take home.
  14. First 3 or 4 game sweep of any team for the Padres this year. Congratulatuons
  15. Well at least none of Devenski’s horrific pitches were debatable. They were flat out shitty
  16. Now that’s weird. The Angels actually got a lucky break in THEIR favor. Adell hits the third base bag with a hit. Halos up 2-1
  17. Sandoval pitching a very Sandoval-ish first inning. Lots of pitches and not a lot of strikes.
  18. I would assume everyone over 27 that signs a 10 year deal or so.
