@PattyD22 I'm really glad you had a good time. I just couldn't do it - go and tolerate Dodger fans. I used to complain about people like me - who sell their tickets for these games.  Now, I'm one of them.  Dodger fans really suck the enjoyment out of being there some times and I just don't want the aggravation.  I watched the game at home and did some smack texting with a good friend of mine who is a Dodger fan.

True Grich, I totally understand it.  I made mention of it in the game day thread last night and yep, it’s tough sitting in a section you’ve been in for years, and all of a sudden you’re surrounded by Big Blue goofballs.

This is not just ordinary to Dodger games. Yankee games and last year, the Cubs series were very similar.  I don’t fault the ticket holders.  It’s just not my style.

But I WILL say my wife was over the Dodger fans by the 3rd inning though.

Well if that's true, then that is just stupid.  Didn't Big Papi see Scarface?  You can't be doing that stuff to the Head Honcho

    Season changing game?

Let's not start this again.  I'll agree it was a great game, as it always is when the Angels beat the Dodgers and their goofy fans, but we all saw what happened last week when the Angels erased a 7-1 lead against a division foe, then proceeded to shit the bed for the next 3.

  4. The thing I have noticed with him is that aside from 1 game, his mound composure is really good for a veteran, let alone a rookie.  Last night, he settled down after the 2nd inning and really made some good pitches.  He went toe to toe with one of the best pitchers in the NL.  It's a shame he got a no decision, but he kept us in the game and the bullpen didn't blow it, which was even sweeter.

  5. I certainly don’t want to be an antagonist on this site, nor this thread.  We love being season ticket holders, and we even love these rivalry games.  It reminds me of when we used to be relevant, and the Yankee, Red Sox and hell, even the Ranger games were crazy.  Regardless, it’s nice to see the stadium filled and loud like the old days.

the only thing missing is thunder sticks and victories

Hard to blame them tbh.  They probably make a solid bit of their investment back during these games.  And the Angels haven’t really given fans much to cheer for for a while.

I really wish the Angels would do some kind of loyalty program to incentivize fans to keep their tickets and show up for these games.  It sucks seeing the stadium packed to the gills with Dodger fans.

Tonight’s face value for our tickets in section 238 row B we’re 85.00 a ticket.  I get it.  But a REAL fan, no matter what, doesn’t do that shit.
