I was lucky enough to be here with my wife, son and daughter in law. My wife cried after the game. I asked her why she was crying and she said "I'm just so happy that Tyler Skaggs mom was here for this."

I cannot believe I got to witness this game first hand. The team could have come out flat emotionally and that would have been expected. But from the very first pitch, this team came out and simply put an ass whipping on the Mariners. The icing on the cake was the no hitter, but in my 18 years as a season seat holder, aside from the World Series, this was by far the most enjoyable game I have ever been to, despite the circumstances. I thank the whole Angel team for that performance, and hopefully the Skaggs family could get a little solace from it. Simply unbelievable.

Hell yes. The improbable has happened. thank you Angels for a awesome night to honor Tyler Skaggs. Amazing!!!

Apparently no one wants to jinx anything

I know it’s only one game, but this is a really solid ass kicking on a night the Angels could have really come out flat emotionally. very proud of how this team came out right from the start and kicked ass. Impressive

Kole is 0-4 with 3 K’s and has left 3 runners on base. I’m sure he wants to change his number tonight also, even though it’s his buddies 45.

I’ve played a lot of baseball and have watched a hell of a lot of baseball but thats a ruling I never knew. You can chose to take the out on catchers interference and score the run. You learn something new everyday.

Hopefully a play like that will carry over to his next plate appearance. Nice play

I’ve learned 2 things so far: 1. Our starters suck and they need to pitch more and; 2. Our bullpen is overworked and tired and need to pitch less. Soooo, if we couple this into the topic of the games lasting too long, what are the chances of asking MLB to just shorten the games to 6 innings, like Little League?

Ty Buttrey is a completely different pitcher when he starts an inning with no inherited runners on base than when he starts an inning clean. He doesn’t focus on the runners. He just rears back and throws gas.
