  1. Who calls the pitches for this team? Is it Ausmus? Or Lucroy? I’d share equal blame between this person and the person unable to execute the pitch.
  2. Well I DO go to the games and have for many years and while on the surface I found his comment a little demeaning,I didn’t fault him. He’s entitled to his opinion, like everybody else on this board. Comparing St. Louis fans, or Cubs fans, or Yankee fans to Angel fans is futile. Like another poster said many threads back, Southern California is a melting pot where people desire to live. Unfortunately they keep their fandom. Big fracking deal. Our fans can be great sometimes, and they can seem disinterested sometimes. Hell, sometimes I’m guilty of that. I think Albert comparing St Louis fans to Angel fans was using to much of a broad brush. But again, it’s his opinion. Big deal, he’s entitled to it.
  3. I was at Game 2 and Game 6 of the 2002 World Series and trust me, it was loud. Maybe it was the damn thunder sticks that helped. As Calzone says above, Angel fans LATELY only seem to care about Bobbleheads, the Wave (which I saw the greatest fans in baseball doing tonight), and Mike Trout. I wish the product being put on the field was better than it is. If it was, more butts would be in the seats. But more butts in the seats doesn’t always translate to better fans in those seats. Just more cash in Artie’s pocket.
  4. Don’t forget Gubie and Rojas also. They’ve done their fair share of crotch clinging tonight
  5. Rotolo Chevrolet has the best Chevy fans in Fontana
  6. Wait until Angel Hernandez calls balls and strikes on Sunday. The game day board should be a hoot
  7. Looks like another hard luck start for Griffin Canning. A balk, a hanging slider, and only 3 hits total in the game and he may get the loss unless the bullpen can bail him out. He hasn’t had a win in over a month. Poor kid has no margin for error lately.
  8. Son of a bitch. Some of those Greatest Fans on Earth are masquerading as Angels fans. WTF?
  9. Hey Albert....pay attention to the game and not that chick in Row 4 idiot
  10. Angels dodged a bullet there. The greatest fans in baseball we’re ready to erupt
  11. Canning pitching from the stretch is significantly worse than Canning from the wind up this inning
  12. I think what Gubie meant was ”Albert sometimes runs a little bit”
  13. “The fans have been GREAT exiting the stadium” —-Gubie holy shit
  14. And the Gubie knobfest continues with Albert....
  15. Big deal. Me and an announced crowd of 34,561(actually about 18,000) gave the same ovation to Torii Hunter when he came back to Anaheim for his return. Meh
  16. Maybe he’ll admit to hypogonadism?
  17. The Angel fans got plenty loud when the Dodgers came to town. It was the best environment in 20 years. I totally get your point though. Its too bad we can’t sustain that enthusiasm at every home game, but a lot of that is a direct result of the product we’re watching in the field. Hard to be “rah-rah” when your high dollar, free agent Starters have staked the visiting team to a 6-0 lead
  18. The Angels have some “real” fans but there are times I simply shake my head in that stadium. Between the Wave, the piped in fake nonsense noise instead of real noise, the 10 minute Angel intro, and the fact that some people are complaining because they can’t get WiFi in the stadium makes it embarrassing. His point stands
  19. Yeah I’m aware of the shift brother. He was actually thrown out from what could have been construed as Right Field. Literally, where the Right Fielder could have hosed his ass from his position
