  1. He got abused for his lame attempt at a diving catch. Not his single, for which he got booed also. I’m proud of the Angel fans tonight.
  2. Marisnick got abused by me and all the right field fans. Karma bitch
  3. Hell yeah Albert. Keep going to right field brother. Awesome
  4. Jake Marisnick in the line up tonight batting 9th and soundly booed by the crowd. I don’t expect anything, but at least the Angel crowd is aware of the situation
  5. I have 4 tickets. My son and daughter-in-law aren’t going to be able to make it tonight. That’s why I told the original poster I’ll see what I could do. Since they aren’t going, I guess I’ll have a couple extras I suppose. Normally, id just get my 2, and that would be fine. But yes, trying to get extra swag is frowned upon by our savvy security staff.
  6. That jacket looks like what happens when my grandson eats too many fruit loops. Horrific
  7. I'm not sure I'd put Smith's defense in the "garbage" category. Last night, Canning's pitches were atrocious, and Anderson didn't do him any favors either with some of his 46 foot breaking balls. I'd tend to agree more with what Doc said. He made some crucial blocks on balls that prevented further damage. On top of that, he came through with a few clutch hits and a sacrifice fly. He's by no means a Molina type catcher, but I truly think he frames pitches much better than Lucroy does and at this point, he's better at making contact. Of course, it's a much smaller sample size, but I think he's a pretty capable back up catcher
  8. I'll see what I can do for you, since you asked nicely.
  9. Great team win tonight. Great offensive performance and aside from Canning, the pitching was adequate enough. great win
  10. Probably the best Albert has looked hitting the ball all season. Using all fields and hitting line drives. I hope he keeps that approach up
  11. Didn’t want this to get buried. You were spot on ten ocho. Love the way the team rallied when Canning put them in a hole. Everybody is contributing tonight so far. Gonna have to have the bullpen keep us in it for 4 more innings
  12. Kevan Smith receives and frames the ball light years better than Lucroy does. Canning has got a few calls because of it.
  13. We actually arrived really early expecting a big crowd and the crowd didn’t disappoint. 43,000 + but the problem, like most days in Southern California, traffic was awful that Friday. A lot of fans who didn’t arrive (or couldn’t) arrive early missed a lot of what we saw. The National Anthem was amazing. I believe that is the 2nd time he has played at Angel Stadium this year. Tyler’s mom came out with the family and looked very poised, but we were watching it from the video board. She threw an absolute BB, right down the middle. As much as I thought the organization and the team handled this with class and dignity, I honestly hope we don’t have to go through this anymore. As a fan, it’s very difficult and emotional. I couldn’t even imaging how a teammate or coach copes with it.
  14. Insane. He always has seemed to have the “lead by example” mentality. Now it seems to be magnified. We are just so blessed and lucky to see a once in a generation type player play on a nightly basis.
  15. It’s been roughly 8 hours since the magical game last night, and as I was walking out of the stadium, I was thinking this exact same thing. Maybe, just maybe.... But....we’ve walked this road before. Many times. Last night was just unexplainable. It was emotional. It was magic. It will also be very difficult to repeat. Heck, even for the fans it will be difficult to repeat the energy. Matt Harvey is pitching tonight. Let me repeat that. Matt Harvey is pitching tonight. The last time I saw him, baseballs were flying out of Angel Stadium like leather hail stones against the Twins. Im sure he’s feeling a lot of pressure to keep this train rolling, and God willing, he can. But the taste I have from his last outing is slowing polluting all the wonderful thoughts I had from the magic that was last nights game. I hope I’m wrong.
  16. Ditto that Strad. Glad you could make it at least for a while. Hope you’ll make it back soon.
  17. You weren’t the only one brother. Lots of emotions in the stands and I’m sure there was on TV also. Awesome sight to see the whole team around the mound.
