    My expectations are that Ohtani is gone, Trout asks for a trade. They try to trade either Anderson or Sandoval for younger pieces. They go after a SP free agent, and 2-3 relievers, and one of'er, and a backup catcher.

    Bad defense, bad relief pitching , bad starting pitching, hitters in a lineup that strikes out anywhere from 15- 35 percent of the time, and has little ability to hit with runners in scoring position. They also don't know how to bunt, or hit behind a runner to get guys in scoring position. Recipe for failure. It added up to over 90 losses.

    This could actually happen. I would take him over the retreads already mentioned. I just hope they interview as many as possible and hope someone unexpected knocks their socks off in the interview process.

    He has a year remaining on his contract. If he quits, he loses that money. If he is fired, he gets the money. Would not be surprised if he is putting out feelers, hoping to find another landing spot.
