  1. Let's be honest here. Had Hamilton came over and put up numbers like he did in Texas, Angels management and fans would have been a lot more forgiving. Maybe they should ask for a random piss test to any free agent they show interest in, just to ease their minds.
  2. What do you guys make of Upton's drop off in the amount of doubles he had in 2018? He went from 44 in 2017 to only 18 in 2018.
  3. I think this had something to do with his release. https://www.mlb.com/bluejays/news/blue-jays-not-sure-of-troy-tulowitzkis-role/c-301510050
  4. Man it seems like these front office people can't keep a secret. What else did this person have to say? Any news on the Mike Trout contract extension?
  5. Nate Smith is back and ready to go in Salt Lake. Hopefully the one time prospect can continue where he left off and at some point be called upon to pitch in Anaheim. Maybe a spot in the bullpen sometime in 2019.
  6. https://sports.yahoo.com/time-will-tell-whats-store-troy-tulowitzki-working-nearly-dozen-teams-011736651.html Interesting. Obviously he has a good relationship with Angel's coach Mike Gallego.
  7. Could we trade Calhoun to the Red Sox for Betts?
  8. And for the minimum salary at that. 9. Jeff Passan‏Verified account @JeffPassan 4m4 minutes ago Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig and Alex Wood have been traded to the Cincinnati Reds, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. Homer Bailey is one of the players going back to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The return for the Dodgers clearly will be more. 89 replies 660 retweets 576 likes
  10. Man that's a real shame when people be throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that...
  11. "If someone was dreaming on his potential "...... 'he's gonna break out " That seems to be the Angels thinking on Skaggs and Heaney since they acquired them, wouldn't you say?
  12. True, but here's the thing. Stanton is able to opt out after the 2020 season. After seeing what the Trout, Harper and Machado deals look like, their is a good possibility Stanton opts out looking for more money. Stanton for 2 years and $52 million is a good deal imo.
  13. If they are putting Andujar on the block to make room for Machado, wouldn't the Yankees be better off trading Stanton and moving Andujar to DH?
  14. Are Thaiss and Ward really that bad behind the plate that the Angels wouldn't consider moving them back ?
  15. I don't know but if you believe what Eppler has been saying then I don't think any of their top 5 prospects will be going anywhere.
  16. Do the Angels have 3 Top 100 prospects not named Adell or Canning?
  17. Well we got 2. Question is will there be a third?
  18. Barria is still very young and still has time to hone his craft so while he might have a drop-off, imo it won't be a big drop-off. I want to see how Pena will do preparing himself to be a starter in Spring Training instead of a reliever.
  19. What gets me is that Bourjos rakes in the minors but can't hit a lick in the majors. That seems to be the case lately for all the players they call up.
  20. Jaime Barria and Felix Pena could pitch at home like they did on the road, the Angels wouldn't need to sign any starters this off season. What are the chances they pitch better at home this year?
  21. If I'm correct, he did play some CF in the minors but the smart move would be moving Calhoun to CF and playing Parker in RF.
