  1. Fan probably said," You were so bad as an Angel that you made Hamilton look like a star when he was with the Angels."
  2. Pujols now has the record for most double plays grounded into. Go for 400 DP's!
  3. Nothing is guarantee in life except death and taxes but he has a much better chance at becoming the player the Angels thought he could become.
  4. I guess we are somewhat similar because we both were/are Angels and Dodgers fans at some point. Cool story.
  5. Never know if I will become a Cowart fan but I will still say he is a good player if he puts up a good season or two. I was an Angels fan but people made a fuss about it since I was a Dodgers fan as well. Ex Angels/Dodgers fan now.
  6. Became an Angels fan (and Dodgers fan) starting in 2004. But people didn't like that idea so I stopped being a fan of both teams after 2009.
  7. Well, he has been decent with the bat this year. Not good like last year.
  8. Probably because Cowart hasn't proven that he can be a good player at the big leagues.
  9. I am not a fan of Cowart by any means but he has the hot bat so sitting him out make sure no sense.
  10. I think it could be because Trout is playing so well at Angels Stadium so the park factor is screwed. Or maybe the Angels pitchers give up so many gopher balls at home that the park factor is all inflated.
  11. When I said "you", I was referring to Baseball Reference.
  12. 337/.457.700 if he play for the Astros and not the Angels. Trout's slash line this year is .339/.459/.700. You can't tell me that a bandbox like Minute Maid is an harder park to hit than Angels Stadium. Baseball Reference is so stupid at times and this is one of those times.
  13. Or playing in 2000 at Coors Field with a park factor over 130.
  14. In a do or die month of August, the Angels are playing for a do or die game, unless the Astros have a big and historic collapse. Don't like the Angels' chance of winning that WC game if they keep on letting Pujols and Valbuena hit ahead of Simmons.
  15. Him and Petit were/are of the few unsung heros of this season. In response to AS mentioning what a great find Petit was, just wanted to give Hernandez credit for the job he did this season as an Angel as well.
  16. Don't forget ex Angel, David Hernandez. Great find but too bad they traded him away.
  17. Maybe because he was never good in the first place?
  18. Just saw someone tweet that Norris is the new Frieri. Off on that one because Frieri was actually solid in his first season as an Angel. I remember him striking out like everyone in his first year with the team. Dude was like automatic for awhile.
