    I think yersterday's loss took the energy out of this team. Think about it, a 5-1 record to start off a do or die month would have felt a lot better than 4-2, even though 4-2 is still great as well.

    Blame the catcher, I guess. Going inside on an 0-2 count is something I don't like. And neither is a fastball on an 0-2 count unless you're someone like Chapman.

    I know the game is not over yet but JC has been one of the Angels many unsung heroes up to this point. Before the season, I thought he was going to be their best reliever this year based on how great he pitched for the Angels after getting traded to Anaheim last year. ERA under 3.00 in over 40 innings pitched.

    Trout's 1000th career hit on his 300th plate appearance this season. A lot of milestones all at once for Trout.

    On his birthday, Trout has struck out five straight times now going back to last year. On his birthday last year, he struck out all four times. Must not like the attention.
