  1. And talking about 4th lines with upside.  What about bringing Perry back on a 1 year contract next season.  He'll be 39.  So obviously way too old.  But just a year, can fill in the 4th line sandpaper.  And if injuries pop up, he can move up and down the line.  At least we know he will go to the net, and be a pest there.  Strome has shown that he still thinks he's a playmaker, and abandons the front of the net constantly.  He's to the point where he should be on the 4th line.  KilltheDucks better start going to the net also.  Especially if Leo and Cutter are going to be on his line.  If both of them won't, then they are useless on their lines and those lines are pretty much playing shorthanded.

The 4th line could be renamed the 'who's not going to be here next year?' line. My guess is obviously Silfverberg, Grouix, Meyers. I think Johnston is here for the duration of his contract. We need him until we can replace him with someone more talented (Jones at some point ?). Leason seems to have a spot until he stops progressing.

Groulx and Meyers were given quite a bit of time to prove they belong.  But so far, they have shown they aren't good enough for the 3rd line, and really don't bring what a 4th line should bring.  Heavy tough play, that won't score, but will be hard to play against.

I think I agree with you on Johnston.  He's signed for another 2 years, but it's $1.1 million.  So easy to send down to SD.  But we kind of need his toughness/he's the token pugilist that we need so that teams don't take advantage of our young guns.  On a fourth line, he hasn't proven to be a severe detriment.  Although he is unfortunately outmatched.  I thought he played best with Jones, where Jones was able to cover for Johnston's lack of speed.  He also really has no vertical movement, in that he can't plug into a 3rd, 2nd, 1st line like say a Jones can at least move up to the 3rd, maybe stretching the 2nd.

Jones needs to stay healthy.  He has all the tools to be a long running 4th line guy.  He has stone hands, but not as much as Stonehands and Stoned.  He's also fast, and big.  RFA, as long as he's not asking for much, I can see him kept.

Leason is another guy that at times looks like he belongs, then at times looks totally overmatched.  He just doesn't fit in the 3rd line.  And he really isn't a 4th line type of guy.  So another that I wouldn't be surprised if he's not offered a contract in RFA.

Not sure why Lagesson is getting as much rope as he has been.  Vaakanainen is a much better player.

    The last harrah.

    What's wrong with McTavish ?

The third guy is probably Lundestrom.

    That makes sense.

McT, don't know.  Lower body injury.  Same with Jones, not sure what's wrong with him either.

If this team was semi healthy next season, we'd make some noise.

Making unskilled wages for one specific labor force greater in value than the rest of California's employees base wages, Newsom has now set in place a State workforce walkout, demanding to be paid in relationship to skills/value in a state that is already billions in debt. It is not just education, it is every job in California that is going to demand higher wages to stay with inflationary costs.

How do you think that is going to play out? You are pretty stupid if you don't think the costs of goods and services across all labor forces don't increase, not only wiping out any fast food employees gain they thought it was achieving, but effecting all lower and mid income families.

Your solutions fuck over an entire state/nation making false values for unskilled over that of skilled labor. The good news is that there won't be any student loan forgiveness needed because there will be no value in investing in personal education over just making a hamburger.

What's another $237 million when you are already facing a $400 million shortfall in 2023/2024.

We have IT, we have IT security.

Apps and app security, along with integration with Iphones, Android, Windows, Blackberries.  Plus opening up your firewalls to let it play with your systems is just a whole different beast in IT and IT security.

As has been explained before in this thread, there are many restaurants with apps that don't prepare your mobile order until you arrive at the restaurant. This is how Chick fil A works.

Ok, then it should be good enough to just order when you get there then, if they aren't going to prepare till you get there.
