You know, Arte decided not to sign anybody because it "wouldn't make a difference" but honestly, signing a few more major league players might have made this team at least watchable this year. As it stands now it's tough to watch much of any of it.
I don't disagree. So why am I watching?

That's just fkn brutal.

It's not like it would matter. He could go 7 innings, give up 2 runs, have 10 k's then either 1 of 2 situations arise after he exits the game:
1) Bats are cold that night and we lose 2-0
2) Bullpen is brought in and implodes allowing another 2-3 runs and we lose 5-4.
Or both, probably.
I can't think of a bigger desperation move than to bring in Bauer at this point. If the team is rebuilding then at least own that and try not to look stupid.

Sure thing, bub. But the premise of actual widespread voter fraud has been tested and tried in court 60 times. But you can keep parroting rightoid conspiracy theories that have no factual basis.
Is this the last of Taylor's memes?

Twitter is always awesome after a game like last night. I learned that we lost because Carpino was watching hockey. It’s funny cuz I thought our bullpen melted down. But nope it’s Carpino had hockey on in his suite. I swear our fanbase is fucking retarded.
Did the tweet actually say the Angels lost because he was watching hockey?

Corporate greed not to blame for price pressures, Fed study shows
https://www.yahoo.com/news/corporate-greed-not-blame-price-170311634.html
U.S. President Joe Biden has blamed corporate greed for still-elevated prices, accusing companies of boosting profits by shrinking portion sizes but leaving the selling price unchanged, and by failing to pass on falling costs to consumers.
Fed policymakers, and many economists, say the inflation surge can be better explained by the combined effect of supply chain disruptions and a drop in labor supply during the post-pandemic recovery that occurred just as consumer demand rose.

Didn't watch the game but I did notice in the box score that the Angels were 0-5 with RISP while KC were 4-10.

LOL, all I had to do was google aggravated assault and while there are most that say up to 4 years the average said 20 and of course Texas, 2 to 99 years or life was even listed. I am not going to look up what they are even the charging the guy with but neither did Larry.

On October 31, DePape was charged with two federal crimes: assault of an immediate family member of a federal official with the intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties; and attempted kidnapping of a federal official on account of the performance of official duties.
DePape was convicted of the federal charges on November 16, 2023.

Let's face it Minasian is an embarrassment. I'm not even sure "rebuilding" is an appropriate term to describe this org, more like "drowning."

I would say, August is the worst time to be an Angels fan.
