  1. I loved the original configuration and was bummed out when they changed it to accommodate the Rams. I have never been to the current configuration but it looks great on TV. Maybe the renovations are an indication that the Angels will pass on the 2019 opt out option and stay there.
  2. That Quintara was sure sharp. Where is he in the Angels system?
  3. I didn't realize he struck out the side until Terry Smith said so. LOL.
  4. I hope we see more of this double steal this season.
  5. I just added one of the frequent Motaisms to the list. I wish, like you, he'd let Terry breathe before jumping in.
  6. There aren't pauses after Terry's remarks. Mota just steps on the period and talks away. Shut up Jose!
  7. We need that change when your best base sealers had 15 (Aybar) and 11 (Trout) respectively. I'm hoping for that, and better LF, 3b, and C. Those are what I think the Angels need.
  8. Señor Blabbermouth is showing us no mercy today.
  9. The audio is a great deal with no blackouts.
  10. Depends on how many games you get. I live in Louisiana and all Rangers and Astros games are blacked out. I get about half the Rangers games via FOX, and the other half are preempted by FOX Sports New Orleans and their programming. The Astros have the same deal as the Dodgers with only 35-40% of cable subscribers getting it in Houston. I never get an Astros game but it's still blacked out. Any more than about 30 games missed would not be worthwhile to me. The blackout IMO is unfair if you can't get the games by alternate means.
  11. Oh how I wish... Really enjoyed seeing that run manufactured, but unfortunately it was the only one the Angels scored all day. Escobar made a couple errors in the field. I think Tropeano will be a solid starter this year.
  12. Jackson's lucky because when Kenny Williams was White Sox GM he had a policy against dealing with Bora$.
  13. Mota talks too much. I grew up with one announcer doing the talking and the second guy talking only if asked. I'd rather the Angels give him some play by play innings and let him give us his baseball knowhow then.
  14. If someone told me we'd get a .270 average from 2b after trading Howie Kendrick, I would have been happy. Johnny G. is giving the Angels 100% and if he wins the job this spring he deserves it.
  15. Don't think that's sunshine pumping at all. A decent offense from more than 3-4 players will make a big difference.
  16. The Angels have pitching, which is why I'm optimistic. Just some offensive improvement will result in a fine season.
  17. The Angels need more hits from more batters in a given night so they can win more games when the pitchers give up 3+ runs. To be optimistic I assume the guys who produced last year will do it again. I think offense from the LF position can make the difference between success and failure. Better defense at 2b, 3b, and C would be great.
  18. The story of the game was Bedrosian's ineffective outing. I know it's the first game, but I think he'll have to get it together quick to make the big league team. Maybe the new pitching coach can help him out.
  19. I had a Jimmy Johns pastrami sandwich and it was like chewing on a rubber band.
  20. LF. Last year there were games where 5-6 slots in the batting order didn't get on base and an offensive improvement might fix that.
  21. That pick off move was against my Alma mater.
