Mike Napoli had season-ending knee surgery in May. He was under contract with the Indians when that happened

If I remember right ,it was a 3 way trade and the Reds killed the trade because of the medicals on a Toronto minor leaguer. Not much you can do about that.The trade was maybe going to be Saunders to the Angels,Bruce to the Jays and prospects to the Reds.The Angels prospect was maybe going to be Jake Jewell.
