Another foot+ fell overnight, whose counting anymore.  Still not a glimmer of hope about being plowed out.

Feeling every inch of this, oof.  It's been a pretty amazing experience, all things considered.  Power stayed on the whole time and just tried to enjoy the moment and stay on top of the snow.  Can't count how many times we dug out the car and the deck.  Interesting that you say Big Bear roads are open, we haven't seen a plow since Thursday and pretty much every town along the rim has streets and streets with 3+ feet of snow.  Seems CalTrans and the county had to abandon us to take care of the 15 and now there is too much snow for normal plows, so they have to bring in the heavier equipment, which is slow going.  Hoping we get opened up before more snow later in the week.

From the article, they've tried forbidding 2B or SS from going past the 2nd base bag but it had no effect, because that's pretty close to where they'd line up in a shift anyway.  The pie slice keeps them out of the middle where they expect it to actually have an impact.  Also, yeah, they have to be on the dirt.

I don't like messing with the rules, but also don't like sharply hit balls up the middle becoming routine outs, or line drives to short right field from a lefty become routine outs.  Especially for lefties, they have little choice but to hit it in the air.  I like the article's analogy with the restricted zone in basketball, maybe that was controversial when it first came out but does anyone care anymore?

This organization has no fucking idea how to build a sustainable winning team. If we are honest with ourselves, trading Trout isn't going to change that. Enjoy watching the generational talent every day and hope we stumble into a functional team one of these years before his late 30's.

Over the past year+, Sling, Hulu, and Youtube have all lost Bally Sports West, after contracts ended and they couldn't agree to a new one.  I would expect the same to happen to ATT/DirectTV streaming service, whenever their contract runs out.  Fuck Sinclair I hope they go bankrupt.
