I never said why he got kicked out just that he did while being under the influence of something. I don't know why I'd make this up it doesn't make me sound cool because I asked questions. And I don't know why it's not more talked about in the media. We have a very relaxed sports media here in Orange County the media tends to give these guys a pass and not report on stuff. And it's not like he was arrested for something just kicked out of a bar and it's not like he was banned because he's been kicked out multiple times haha. So ya I'm not gonna say the bars because I'm sure you guys who have one sort of night life can figure out the spots people go to around town and ya.

Nice try.  Half the fucking people in any given bar in Costa Mesa, Fullerton, etc are high.  No one has ever been kicked out of a bar for coming in stoned. You sound like a puritanical grandma, what bar are you at with such pussy bartenders?

I bet he is a surly drunk, I'd love to get kicked out of a bar with Weaver.

Always liked tex. Switch hitter with a hell of a bat, and great defense. Seemed like a really good guy to boot. Angel fans hated him for leaving, but i never understood that. Dude was here like 2 months..not really the kind of time to say "screw the better offer from another team".

I still hold a grudge against him.  We had a great team in 2008, won 100 games, just as usual came up short in the playoffs.  I thought he was the final piece of the puzzle and really just hate the fucking Yankees.  But he got a ring so made the right decision from his perspective.

The more I look at it, the more I realize that Eppler may have had a stroke of genius in bringing in Meyer. The only thing that has ever stopped him from putting up top of the rotation numbers is injury. If he's healthy, he should be good.

This is an amazing leap of faith.  It's pretty clear he has injury problems and control problems and his progress has stalled for 3 years now.   Twins are last place in their division yet still are willing to let him go just to get rid of Nolasco, I think that means something.  If there was any possibility at all that he could be a starter, and be better than Santiago, why would the Twins make this trade?
