  2. I'd have rather we kept Grichuk. Dude got off to an absolutely brutal start and had a .133 OPS with 8 Ks in his first five games. Since then he's gone .286/.421/.571 with as many walks as strikeouts.
  3. This is very very clever.. Well played.
  4. Do yourself a favor -- take your own advice and grow up..... Even better, do what you say you do with stupid people.. put yourself on ignore, or maybe just mute yourself and spare the rest of us the idiocy. I tried to take the high road and make clear my intent in saying "less dysfunction".... you chose to double down on the douchebaggery and again ignore it in favor of your own self serving ranting.. So, just to be clear -- While I believe there is plenty of blame to go around for the recent mess in Anaheim, I hold Moreno at fault for not having allowed Dipoto to pick his own manager and allowing the situation to fester.... that was the root of all the dysfunction IMO. If I had to pin it on one guy, I'd prolly go with Arte. But... let's not allow that to get in the way of a good old fashioned fanboy hissy fit..
  5. LOL.. A -- The M's clubhouse is completely irrelevant when the subject is what "the Angels are on pace for" .... did you not actually read what I responded to? B -- We actually DO have people on this message board that have access to the clubhouse/front office and yeah, there is less dysfunction. But even without that access... it really takes a special sort of "oblivious" to think anything could match the dysfunction we saw in Anaheim last year. C -- Last time I checked the Angels don't fly banners when they finish ahead of the Mariners.. If they did there would be a lot of them. The farm system, international presence, the draft... The Angels got bigger fish to fry IMO. Seriously Cez -- nothing I said was a criticism of anything/anyone other than the Angels' situation last year.. It was ugly. There is a lot to fix.
  6. Stll not smarter than a 5th grader...
  7. There was at least one person questioning why he was starting yesterday .... So, yeah... Weaver having used Haters to describe his critics was silly. What he's doing is pretty much uncharted territory for a RHP, skeptics are to be expected and as a ten yet veteran you figure Weave would expect it. On the flip side, whatever he needs to do and tell himself to fire himself up is fine by me.. If the "haters" are fueling his desire to win.. So be it IMO...
  8. Mostly because nobody knew he would be able to get a TUE for testosterone the rest of his career. While everyone else ages naturally, Beltre's medical condition means he will always be 27 years old....
  9. Therapeutic use exemptions and how they can work for your team...
  10. And sadly Cowart looks a world better than Kubitza....
  11. Guess you missed how he sucked with two teams before coming to the Angels last years... Reality>narratives.
  12. Meh, it's not like that's the only media money they get either... The National TV money is no joke....
  13. I just think it's funny he was vilified for not shifting enough last year (despite having the best defensive efficiency in MLB at the time), and now he's stupid for shifting too much. Personally, I think it's just early in the year and there isn't a large enough sample size to really have an opinion on whether or not shifts are helping or hurting. But whatever, people seem to always need a reason to point a finger.
  14. I'd like to back off of my Salmon/Edmonds preference and change it to Felix/Hayes
  15. You know the last GM quit cause Sosh wouldnt shift even MORE..... Thought you Sosh haters wanted him to be more progressive?
  16. Scully jumped the shark a long time ago. Age is a mofo....
  17. Nate Smith is making it seem like his late season fade was in fact due to fatigue....
