    Again, not saying he wasn't: just saying that he might have a hard time, given the morons that vote.

    From a voter's standpoint, my concern is that he doesn't have any of the major milestones (3000 hits, 500 hr, etc) that sometimes seem to matter. That, combined with him playing in "the steroid era" (even if he was never linked to PEDs) could make it tougher than it should be for him.

    If I was voting, I would agree. I'm just saying that I'm not sure actual voters will.

    He's going to be an interesting case. I'm not sure he'll have that much support for the HOF, given the era he played in.

    Cron has at least shown some signs of life the last couple of weeks to make his overall production look a little better.

    Thanks for the heads-up. Side note: am I the only one who absolutely HATES Yahoo's redesign? It's very hard to read anything on it now.

    My guess is that it's related to the fact that he's 3 for 36 with 12 K and 1 BB since he came off the DL.

    Doubt they'll do that at this point in the season, but my guess is that they he'll be non-tendered in the off-season.

    Not a surprise. With an off day tomorrow, they'll just give him an extra day, and then hopefully get him back out there Friday.

    He co-stars in Woody Allen's latest movie, Blue Jasmine, and he's surprisingly good in it...(Andrew Dice Clay, that is--not Dice-K. )

    Who the f wants Dice-K? Dude hasn't been good in years, and bringing in another washed-up pitcher is the last thing we need to do.

    Highly doubt it. He has a personal services contract for 10 years after the expiration of the playing contract. I doubt they'll just dump him, and then be like, "Sure, come back and collect a check for 10 more years after you're done playing."

    Yep. I think there are only 4 or 5 guys in the whole league that are older. He'll be 24 before the season starts next year.
