    Amazing to think that just earlier this year there were threads here with the words "Why did Scioscia put _________ in instead of Frieri!!??!!" Edit: Changed didn't to did, big difference. People actually wanted Frieri to close games!

    I checked the box score for that game last year and he finished out the loss in mop up duty to the A's in a 10-6 loss. 2.0 IP 1 Hit, 1 K, no ER.
