  1. Yes Fullerton and FV are a step above most of Anacrime. Anaheim in general has its good areas and crappy areas. The 92807 area of Anaheim is nestled between Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills and has low crime and highly rated schools. The same can't be said for West Anaheim. If the angels leave and the city of anaheim drops the ball on redeveloping the stadium area, I think that could really hurt home owners in the area, which i am.
  2. I never saw the original CHIPS tv series but i watched the new Chips movie last night with Michael Pena and Dax Shepard and thought it was hiilarious. It is a little cheeseball at times but i thought the jokes were very funny(i was also high so that might have helped).
  3. I took the train from Fullerton to Chicago when I was 8. It took 2.5 days. There were some nice scenic sections but it also went trough the crappiest areas too. My mom and i just had 2 seats, not a private cabin. If I were to do it again now i would definitely look into a cabin. The restaurant on the train was pretty good though, this is coming from 8 year old me who probably got chicken fingers or a hot dog. It did stop here and there but it was just enough time to get off the train and walk around the station's shops, not enough time to get any where else. It was a cool experience though.
  4. I was at the game so i don't know if it was mentioned but Gibbons blocked a shot last night in the 3rd period that ripped his glove off. I saw him go straight to the lockerroom and i don't think he ever came back. Hopefully it is nothing serious
  5. I have only watched a few episodes so far but i like it too. Its like an 80s movie about what they thought the future would be like.
  6. I like the Kase deal, $2.6/year for 3 years sounds good to me even if he doesnt improve on last seasons numbers.
  7. If they stay healthy I think they could be but if they miss the playoffs I want them to miss bad so we can get a high draft pick for once.
  8. They really just need to teach kids to pitch with both arms. That way if they blow out one arm and need TJ surgery you just switch to the other arm and never miss a start! I'm implementing this strategy with my 2 year old now. Check back in 16 years to see how much of a genius/moron I am!
  9. Animal Kingdom is probably my favorite show that my wife and I am currently watching. I have a buddy in the music industry that says the gay Cody brother writes songs for a few big artists. Says he isn't gay IRL either. Also, i'm not all caught up but i have been enjoying the first couple of episodes of Yellowstone. Anyone else? I have been watching it on demand and noticed that there is nudity and fbombs. Is this the case when it airs on Paramount channel? I thought they couldn't show tits unlike premium cable shows like HBO and Showtime.
  10. I wish we could have paid less but i bet he would have gotten more as a FA so i cant complain. He might get more minutes this season too with Kesler questionable.
  11. I would have rather waived the white flag for the upcoming season and filled our lineup with our own prospects instead of signing any of these guys.
  12. I would rather have Randle at that price than have Rondo at 9mil. They better know Kawhi is coming next year for sure.
  13. I have enjoyed all the star wars movies but I am not a true fan by any means. I saw Solo and liked it too. It was fun and i thought all the actors were great. I dont understand the hate either.
  14. A 50/50 raffle is a good way to raise money without having any items to raffle off. Another plus is if one of the parents wins they might just donate their winnings to the trip too.
  15. I love live sports, but the cost/hassle of attending games plus the quality of HDTV leave me with little motivation to attend more than 1-2 games a year and i live a 5 min drive from Angels stadium or ponda.
  16. Why Yankees have a better shot at adding Mike Trout than Bryce Harper http://www.nj.com/yankees/index.ssf/2018/06/why_yankees_have_better_shot_adding_mike_trout_tha.html This is just an article that caught my attention on google this morning. I do like the idea of the Angels talking to Trout this off season and asking if they have any shot at extending him or if he has his heart set on playing closer to home. If he wants to be on the east coast then lets trade him for the best package we can this off season and go after Machado and Harper. I dont know anything about those yankee prospects but the idea of getting 4-6 of some teams top 10 prospects is a nice concelation prize to losing maybe the best player ever.
  17. They should be grading all umpires on their accuracy of the strike zone in all levels of baseball. Demote the bottom 20% each season to the minors and promote the top 20% of minor league umpires to replace them. This way we force the umpires to be as accurate as possible if they want to make MLB money as well as give the better minor league umps a way for them to get into the show.
  18. I think he saved us from a loss with his defense at least once this year too.
  19. Huh? Bieksa had a NMC. Vegas wasn't going to take Bieksa. They would have taken Vats but we gave them Theodore so they would take Stoner in the draft. i didnt like the deal but we were never going to lose Bieksa unless we bought him out.
  20. Bribe him? Try giving him his favorite candy anytime he poops in the potty.
