I tried episode 1 with my wife, she kind of liked it but I couldn't get into it. It felt like a musical/play made into a tv show.

And $2 mil for one year of Hudler is a steal! I wish we would have pulled the trigger on that. -

Hampus should have been selected to the team over Kronwall to begin with. -
My uncle as well as his wife and kids are all deaf. They live in NY and a few years ago my family met them in vegas and then they followed us home and stayed with us for a week. While here my deaf uncle was pulled over 4 times and didn't get a ticket anytime. Just played the "I'm a deaf tourist and don't understand what you are saying" card. Sometimes it pays to be deaf.

reminds me of that USC player that lied a few years ago about jumping out a window to save his drowning cousin...

Vrbata signed with Arizona for $1 Million + incentives. I would like to see the ducks pick up Hudler if he is cheap or maybe bring back Pirri for under a mil. -

I wonder if the plan is to put Rakell back on the wing or if Vermette will be centering the 4th line. With our new/old coach who doesn't play the 4th line much I am betting they plan to put Rakell back on the wing and use Vermette on the 3rd line. -

I saw an article talking about unsigned RFA and Lindholm and Monahan from Calgary were both mentioned. In the comment section of the article I saw someone say this: "Hearing here in Calgary there are talks of a Lindholm for Monahan swap." I would hate to lose Lindholm but Monahan is awesome too. It is probably just fans talking up there but it did make me question if I would pull the trigger on that deal. -

I never understood why they need to have the Olympics in one country. Especially a country that is having financial issues. If they split up events between multiple countries it would put a lot less strain on the locals and their economy. Like all the swimming events are held in the US, the track and field is held in Germany, gymnastics in Japan and so on. This way if you apply to be a host of an event you can prepare for that one event instead of an entire Olympic games. I can't be the first person to have an idea like this.

The wife and I are doing a little trip before baby number 2 arrives and we are off to Seattle for a few days and then Alaska for 4. The high while we are in Alaska is 68. I'm excited to get away from this heat and give my AC a week off. -

I was born in 85 and played baseball from 1989-97 and we had pitch counts that were enforced. I played in Fountain Valley but I noticed more rules when I played on a travel ball team, like two inning max for pitchers.. Until a certain age we weren't allowed to throw a breaking ball. Just fastballs and change ups. -
I saw ESPN do a little story about the how there were an excessive amount of long homeruns yesterday and showed all the blasts from various teams. the HRs ranged from 430 and up. The segment I saw didn't include Marte's shot. east coast bias

Saw the movie Green Room the other day. I thought it was really good. It has the Anton Yelchin(rip) in it. Its about a band playing a small out of town show when they get into a situation with the locals. The suspense/horror felt very realistic and believable. I would recommend it

I enjoyed The Wire. I had tried to watch it many years ago and I wasn't sucked in by the first episode. I gave it another shot when we had our first child in 2014 and watched all of them by the time I had go back to work a few weeks later. Really well written show.

I read that Bernier needs to start half of our playoff games too in order for us to have to send Toronto our pick so we could still win the cup and Toronto would get nothing. I have never seen a trade like this. The Ducks fan base just quadrupled since all of Toronto is hoping the ducks win the cup with Bernier starting over Gibson. -
I read that Nintendo is making 2 million a day from in app purchases in the US on IOS devices.

Theodore shouldn't be exposed to the draft because he has less than 2 years of pro experience I believe. -
New Neighbors. Etiquette questions.
OCAngelsNotLAA replied to Adam's topic in The Official Hangout Forum
We have lived in our house for 7 months now. When we first moved in we had one neighbor come by but that's it. Now it feels awkward to try and get to know anyone. I always smile and wave at my neighbors when I am outside but I don't know anyone's name. Even forgot the name of the one lady that introduced herself. -
"Black people's shenanigans"? I'm sorry but that is really ignorant statement. I hope you open your eyes and watch the numerous videos of unjust police brutality against African Americans, I believe the "shenanigans" label is more appropriately used to describe the police's use of deadly force or the department failing to bring charges against those officers.
