Also, random note: I live 5.2 miles from the Rose Bowl, but I can hear the music from the concert that just started there over the Angels game that I'm watching in my living room.  I've lived here 12 1/2 years and never had that happen before.  Crazy.

This team has endured a ridiculous and debilitating number of injuries...
 
However improbable: I'm still holding out hope for a Trout/Ohtani beast-mode run for the ages... to do that though, they need the complimentary bats in the lineup (see: O'Hoppe, Zeto, Mous, Drury, Rengifo, Renfroe)...
 
Unlike recent history - I don't think many of us would be surprised if the Halos ripped off 10-12 straight or 16/20... This lineup is capable of that...

Silseth is a bright spot in this difficult season. Lots of strikeouts, very few walks. Great demeanor and he gets results.

What I remember about Joe Sauders is I used to defend him but I had no idea what I was talking about.  Like see how many games he’s won?  Man did I get creamed.  But no resentment, I’ve forgotten all about it.  A big part of my point though that he was a pretty stable rotation piece and he was giving his all.  He was an underdog so appealing to me.
