Another forgotten thing is that fowlers injury forced Walsh to RF which opened up first base.   Had he not tore his knee up this whole situation may have played out earlier. 

Agreed.  Anybody who puts this on the angels is delirious.   The angels informed Albert that his playing time would be decreased, and rightfully so.   Albert showing his pure selfishness by wanting to play full time despite evidence of his declining skills.  The reason has nothing to do with the team.  He just wants the opportunity to pad his personal stats.   Hubris.

Nobody can feel sorry for Albert.  He played this year totally wrong.  Despite his reputation as a team guy it is clear Albert is out for Albert.  He wants to hit 700 home runs, doesn’t matter how shitty he is otherwise.  That is a totally selfish move.

I guess it’s nice to have someone to gripe about.  The Mariners started 5 guys today hitting less than .200 and no one hitting over like .280

While I agree with thoughts that it gets worse, I think the article frames it nicely.  It is near impossible to know exactly where a 92 mile an hour slider crosses the plate.   The tv box makes criticism very easy.  I’m a fan of electronic strike zone.  
 
ive always thought ballparks oughta have games on the field before the players come out.  Particularly for those who say it is so easy.  How about you taking your shot at calling a game, or taking some batting practice off live pitching.  Think it would be fun and entertaining for the fans.

Bumgarner threw a no hitter in 7 innings today in a double header.  He does not get credited with a no hitter.  Obviously o have no idea what might have happened in the last two innings but another example of the crappy ass rule changes getting in the way.
