    I think that Brandon fooled all of us. I still think that someone could have worked with his swing, made it shorter. When he was with the Bucs with no pressure, I realized that everything was all hype. I guess the biggest mistake the Angels made was not recognizing he did not have a major league future, and he should have been packaged for a piece the team needed.

    The mailbox for my part of the street is in front of my house. I see that all the time. My biggest beefs for the community mailbox is the mail gets soaked when it rains. Damn things aren't sealed properly. Also when I had my eBay business a few years ago, I had to drop my packages off at the Post Office, instead of leaving them on my porch.

    The structured Pujols with the payroll being more flexible in the future. With Hamilton, I think someone was brain dead. The article states Moreno is a businessman, but I'm getting the feeling more and more that the Angels are a personal play toy for Moreno. I hope I'm wrong.

    I think they need to leave Blanton in the rotation. He has an outside chance at 20. Anytime a pitcher has that chance for 20, you should give it to them.

    Williams always seems to have a plan out there. Leave him in the rotation the rest of the year. He's a gift. Sign him for next year instead of one of these expensive washouts.

    With a 3 run lead, the closer shouldn't nibble. I always loved watching Percival pitch in that situation. Basically he threw his hardest fastball for a strike and challenged hitters. He didn't care if he gave up a home run, because he would still be winning.
