    I dont see this team making the playoffs for another 3-4 years, assuming they draft properly. So no, I wouldnt resign Vargas, trade him for prospects or get a draft pick for him and rebuild.

    i really dont get why you would trade 4 young pitchers, 3 of which are lefties for an expensive righty approaching his 30's? what in the hell was reagins thinking? ok maybe u give up saunders and skaggs, but you tell the dbacks no on corbin, or throw in corbin and say no for skaggs. you dont give them your entire future for one guy. f'ing stupid.

    the chances were really low that it would work because aybar is a retard at squeeze plays. scioscia doesn't know his teams strength and thats his downfall as a manager.

    somethings fishy about segura, how do u go from a .750 ops in the minors to a .950 in a much better league like the majors? hes prolly taking the braun stuff, or simply playing over his head, it's stupid to think he will continue this pace.

    i dont get how a 200 hitter is still hitting 5th? pujols is not the same guy anymore, hes a .230 hitter, move him down. Id put trout, callaspo, trumbo, shuck, pujols, aybar, ianetta, hamilton, kendrick in that order.

    I just watched his 3 hit game, most of them were cheapies - josh hamilton type singles. His 4 hit game was all on fastballs, every single hit i saw was on a fastball, I'm not sure why the league keeps throwing fastballs to him...probably because braun is behind him, but still you have to test him on breaking stuff more.

    Scioscia still trotting out the same fail lineup that cant score any runs. He'll never change, never makes any adjustments to help get the team going.

    pujols and hamilton were supposed to carry the offense, and instead are 8 easy outs a game and they have become a black hole in the middle of the lineup. the rest of the lineup is filled with a lot of over aggressive hitters who make early count outs and never walk which gives the opposing teams starting pitcher the ability to 9 innings practically every game. its just a disaster.

    must be nice hitting in front of ryan braun, and hitting in a home ball park that makes coors field look like safeco. he wouldn't be doing that well in anaheim. i cant believe you guys think he is for real........its 1 month, he's hitting like he was the #1 prospect last year, and he wasnt. He was like in the 60's, hes not this good - just having a good start.

    bullpen? only downs has no reason to be trusted, he's blown 4 games already and almost blew number 5, yet scioscia still hasnt realized he sucks. scioscia is too stuck in his ways to ever adjust.

    I agree, we should have won 1-0 last night, how dare this pitching staff give up more than 0 runs.

    Leads the team in meaningless hits. If there was an award for Least Valuable Player - Howie would win it every year, hands down. He is the most poor fielding, unclutch hitting, terrible situational awareness, and horrible baserunninng player I've ever seen.

    I read somewhere that Arte is out of the country on business. I dont see him eating the rest of scioscia's contract regardless. His best move would be to fire all of scioscia's staff, and hope that scioscia resigns as a result.
