Ya nothing is ever Dipoto's fault.. Part of being the GM is evaluating talent, and minimizing mistakes. that's what we pay scouts for isnt it? Dipoto should have known Burnett always had a history of nagging injuries, everyone else did....but he signed him anyways. He should have known Hamilton hit like .150 after the month of may, instead he gave him 125m based on his entire year. He should have known CJ was overrated, the players even polled it,but he signed him anyways. He should have known to get a real closer after what happened in 2012, he didnt.........and the list goes on and on.

No one is gonna trade young SP after seeing how Arizona raped the angels a few years ago for 3 young SP's for an old Dan Haren. Angels will hold on to Kendrick because there are no GM's as stupid as Reagins out there in baseball for Dipoto to take advantage of.

No one seems concerned about a smart GM like Beane giving up on a prospect? We lost last night because of bad defense at 3b, which is where I think the angels are probably gonna play him if he ever makes it there. So far I've heard he's poor defensively, strikes out a lot, doesn't walk - I mean all of these attributes fits the angels mold perfectly, but that's not a good thing. I'm not sure why u guys are excited over this guy.

Why? It's scioscia's job to know who is on the bench for the a's, he should have known Norris and his 6 hr's were going to pinch hit if he brought in Downs to face a nobody lefty catcher named Vogt who has hit a whopping 2 hr's. Earlier in the year against the A's, Scioscia made the same mistake when he brought in Downs to face a punch n judy lefty and the a's pinch hit chris young who hit a 2 run homer to tie the game. that was the 18 inning game, sciocia is just a god awful manager and never learns from his mistakes. Yes this team sucks, but this game was winnable and the manager is a huge part of the problem.

I got an idea, how bout making Trumbo a pitcher again? Maybe he will suck less at that, and if he can be a starter maybe we can use him as a pinch hitter on his off days.

Dipoto knew what he was getting in Corbin and Skaggs + Saunders but I mean even if they didnt work out...3 lefties that can start or relieve have immense value..what could be better? Dipoto was lucky to be able to take advantage of a complete moron of a GM named Reagins. The same guy who traded for Wells & took his entire salary & gave up value in return to the blue jays....in other words he took advantage of a total incompetent idiot. The non-reagins trades he has made have been mostly terrible, and pretty devastating to the organizations future. he should be fired for that.

Shitty luck? Hanson missing time is actually a good thing...he is bad, very bad. The only bad part of him missing time is they dont have someone adequate to replace him and be a decent SP.

Well it takes a great coaching staff to do that, something Dipoto also fails to address. and for the record the rangers have had more injuries to their pitching staff than we have. no excuses there...

You're reaching here, this guy has spent 50% of the year the DL. And he has had only 1 good month out of the 3 he has actually pitched. He might not even pitch again this year. I would rather have a guy who can pitch the entire season but if your satisfied thats cool. Vargas trade stinks, Hanson trade stinks, Greinke trade stunk, Madson, Blanton, and Burnett signings stink.....nothing he did was good except getting Mr. Erratic fastball as closer. He's been a very bad GM, and you're completely blind if you think otherwise.

Honestly, Jerome's stuff isnt very good, his pitches don't sink they rise. He gives up a lot of homers and has bad control.

Bourjos definitely catches that. I dunno why Trout has regressed in his D since last year.
