  1. lol, mans second MLB game and everyone is ready to send him back to the minors
  2. I feel better about feeling good about the signing, he looked really good out there with his pitch movement
  3. Man I love the movement on Teheran's pitches so far
  4. The ESPN Broadcast of this game is terrible and these two clowns sound like they couldn't give a crap about baseball.
  5. I am not looking forward to hearing Chipper Jones drone on all night, so monotone.
  6. Welcome back Should I feel bad I thought you were around this entire time?
  7. I like the cut of Maddon's jib with this decision. Upton has been trash for a while now.
  8. Whoa great find. I always enjoy @VictorRojas related content. Looks like they are only 3 subscribers from 100, maybe we can get his channel above that threshold.
  9. They were some of the best people I've met in years, it was great visiting with your dad and hearing about his traveling adventures and working for the airlines. Farler mentioned something about a housewarming party when he gets all moved in so if he goes through with it that'll be my next trip out there.
  10. I'm honestly looking at this from a different perspective. Players had Spring Training then the season was postponed, most of the players basically had to sit around until July, and then had a short "Summer Camp" Baseball players are creatures of habit and conditioning, and even though Summer Camp was 3 weeks, it also was in the middle of summer, no fans, strange new protocols, in the middle of a global pandemic. I think "normal" baseball operations have only been going on for a little over a month, compare that with the fact that pitchers and catchers report in the middle of Feb, start spring training usually the end of Feb and play through March until the season starts. Honestly most players right now aren't even at 100 percent "capacity", they are also way our of their normal routine, I mean look at how Trout has started the season as he is adjusting. In conclusion: Players aren't fully conditioned yet, it seems to affect the relief pitchers the most, and since our bullpen was fairly mediocre anyway, its making them look even worse than they already are, lol it's not Maddon's fault
  11. I have no sympathy for the Mariners in this situation. This is similar to what the WWE did with releasing a ton of their talent (Wrestlers) despite having a ton of cash on hand, and reporting its highest profits ever this past quarter. I don't know how much of this was Dipoto/McKay or how much was Mariners ownership, but I find the timing of this to be very callus.
  12. Honestly I see the 2020 season as the "Gas Leak" season where they throw shit at a wall and see what sticks. I'll be more disappointed if the rule sticks beyond this season.
  13. Big pimping on the AW executive plane.
  14. Chuck has been dealing with birthday stuff all day and says thank you everyone, he’ll pop on eventually when he can catch his breath. (I’m currently hanging with him for his birthday.)
  15. I'm heading over to his house in about an hour to take him to the old folks home. I'll let him know you all called him old.
  16. I think it's the opposite. I feel like the more selfish thing to do would be to play baseball no matter the safety protocols. I think he is looking out for his family first, and himself, second. I feel the MLB can do more to ensure the safety of the player than they have done. It's selfish for us to expect baseball players to play no matter the consequence. I do feel the Angels have done probably the best at making their own "bubble" and pledging to eachother to stay safe during the season unlike other MLB clubs.
  17. With news that a few Cardinal players have tested positive for the plague, various talking heads are saying that the 2020 MLB season should be canned. I'm curious what you guys think.
