To be fair he is a rookie called up from Double A with 101 IP in the minors who had to face the fucking Rangers gauntlet for his first MLB start as an injury replacement.

Went to college as a computer science major because I thought that coding and making video games would be cool.

Boy was it boring and awful (1.8 GPA ... too much not going to class and not caring). Changed after the first year. 

Was at an engineering school and my roommate was an Electrical Engineering major ... thought I'd give that one a go because electricity and lightning are cool.

18 years later, I've been working at the same company and gotten my Master's degree in EE.

He's a big strong kid.  It's going to be interesting to see how his body changing as he ages will impact him.  Like Trout in his rookie season, his speed was a big factor -- it will be interesting to see if he retains that speed regardless of whether or not he continues to steal bases.

We do not want him to steal anymore already due to the back issues ... seems that is when he gets hurt the most often.

He's still hitting the ball hard .. just less luck. He hit a 115 MPH ROCKET today for an out. 

I think he'll course correct, but its gonna be a bit and a challenge.

That or Kelenic sucked all the powers out of him and into himself.

I already wrote him off after the initial injury as soon as I heard it was a forearm tendon and he lost like 5 mph on his fastball right after it.
