Well, all the goodwill from the Chicago win is gone. The Oilers brought Scott Howson back as a scout. So now we have the man who destroyed the Blue Jackets working under the man who destroyed and is fumbling the rebuild of the Oilers all to hell.

In the most Oiler thing ever, Legwand dumps it in from center ice, Dubnyk plays it with all the defensive prowess of a nine year old playing his first little league game and it and it goes in. I am certain that was the hockey equivalent of a kid picking dandelions in the outfield as the ball goes by. Six F'n years of this. This thread is turning into "Come watch Brett slowly lose his mind."

Anyone with insomnia might want to tune in to Oilers/Preds momentarily. Well, Pekka Rinne is my favorite non-Oiler so there's that, I guess. I believe Nashville is last in the league in shots per game. I'm feeling good- Oilers will win 2-1 due to Nashville's poor special teams. *cue Mike Fisher hat trick*

Nash deserves to be in the limelight. The poor guy languished in obscurity in Columbus for years on a lot of poor teams, much like Gaborik did with the Wild.

I also believe that at the very least, visors should be mandatory for players just entering the league. I can see the league doing something similar to what they did with helmets where the rule is grandfathered in. I remember (as I'm sure NJ Halo does as well) Craig MacTavish being the last nutjob skating around without a helmet. I'd think that the PA would only agree to something like that rather than having them immediately mandatory for all players.

MLB, NHL, NFL, and NBA networks are where I go for sports news on television. The 30 for 30's are alright, but other than the occasional actual live sporting event I've cut ESPN out of my life completely and it's great. Those clowns are a Tim Tebow slideshow away from becoming Bleacher Report on television.
