Take a look at the rainfall for 97-98. Yeah, it rained 2.5 inches in December, but you make it seem like NOAA predicted 10 inches in December. One other thing to note, El Nino doesn't always mean above average rain. It's a trend that includes above average rainfall. Correlation not causation 

I've never asked anyone what they think of OC and gotten "where's all the rain?" as a response.

For someone who follows weather this closely, you sure don't know much about forecasting, AO.

What about banning people who have incredibly misguided opinions about the Ducks D?  Fowler is not by far the best defensemen on the Ducks.  Lindholm is right on his tail, and I wouldn't be surprised if Lindholm is the better dman by the end of the year.

I want to get down to SD and catch a few Gulls games this season.  If they build a nice following I wonder what will happen with that arena.  That place was a dump when I use to go down there as a kid and has been largely unchanged minus the new scoreboard. Is there any other arenas that they could upgrade to in SD?

I agree with your assessment on Rakell.  He's a third line center until he proves otherwise.

They were alright.  During the playoffs it was sometimes too loud to even hear them.  I'm sure with better production that would change.  The new sound system and jumbotron can't hurt either.

Sorry. I didn't see this response. He's 21 so he's bound to make mistakes. Scott Niedermayer didn't break out until his mid 20s. Lindholm was picked at six in 2012, while some have said that he now should've easily been picked in the top five (others have even said first overall).

That's what I was thinking too. I have stayed at the base of Squaw Valley once, and rented a house in Incline Village for the winter. The south looks better in the summer

I'd say that's better for the summer. Lake is still accessible and you can gamble, etc. I usually would recommend north Lake Tahoe for the winter.

Remember, Beauch and Lindholm are being matched up against Kane and Toews most of the time.  Going to be hard to look good doing that.

The fact Kane and Toews have 1 pt combined this series is enough to prove to me that they're doing just fine.
