  1. You were there?  When Billy Joe put electrical tape for a stache and did Bohemian Rhapsody?  My old district manager at Game Stop had a ticket hookup and found out about the show that way.

Yup, my mom was able to score 8 tickets through the Green Day fan club if I remember correctly.  I was so pumped when she called and told me as were my friends who got to go!  Sadly I don't recall Bohemian Rhapsody but I do remember We Will Rock you.  I wish I had a video of that entire concert so I could relive it!

  2. I think that's what the Ducks are going to do.  They aren't a big market that can take it to the cap max every year.  So they need to keep the pipeline stocked.  And the Ducks draft smart, so that helps.

I agree, Bob Murray is great about keeping the pipeline stocked for the future.  If he plays this offseason right he can keep the Ducks very competitive for years to come.

  3. Paul McCartney and Tom Petty both at the Hollywood Bowl are 2 of my favorites.  That venue is just spectacular.  I've seen Petty around a dozen times, all of his shows are awesome, never miss him when he is in So Cal.

Rebelution and Slightly Stoopid at Irvine Meadows was a great stoner fest (if you like Rebelution and have never seen them live do it, they are phenomenal).

Pepper at the Hard Rock poolside in Las Vegas was an awesome drunk show.

Any No Doubt so cal show.

Any Offspring show, especially last summer at the OC Fair.

Iration at The Cave in Big Bear, awesome small venue.

Green Day at the Olympic right before they released American Idiot...I thought Jesus of Suburbia was like 4 different songs when they played it.

Now back into the Junior High/High School Days:

Pop Disaster tour at Irvine Meadows with Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, and Blink 182

Sugarcult/Unwritten Law at a small venue in LA, I can't remember which one.

Yellowcard and New Found Glory at Chain Reaction in Anaheim.

  4. Yeah Kings tickets are much more expensive than Ducks tickets.  If you buy any single games from Ducks you are much better off doing a mini plan or season ticket plan depending on how many games you go to.  On the plus side since we drew Nashville 1st round tickets are relatively cheap on the secondary market, especially the game on Sunday night and the building should be full of Ducks fans.
