What a fun game last night, although we looked awful at times Fasth bailed us out every time.  Getzlaf is a beast!  Gotta get the W Sunday against the Blues to cap off this homestand right!

Very happy to see that Getzy will be with the Ducks for the next 8 years.  We must move Perry at the deadline now because there is no way we can afford both him and Getzy and we will need the young cheap talent.

Why have this system that people have to pay into?  Everyone should have their own SS account similar to a 401k that can't be withdrawn till they are 65.  I know how to invest my money better than the government.

My guess is they are only going to be getting more expensive too.

Nice to see Hiller get the shutout last night, should be a good confidence boost for him.  I can't believe Chicago keeps rolling like this, if they are still undefeated when they come out to Anaheim on the 20th I may have to cancel my flight to Vegas and drive there after the game.  I just couldn't stand it if I missed the Ducks ending the Blackhawks streak.

Damn these Wednesday games, too easy to forget about since I'm used to the Thurs/Sat.  At least I was watching the Ducks win instead of the Bruins lose I guess.  Howland should be fired now, maybe that will light a fire under the players asses for the tourney.

It will last.   The Anaheim Hills one is still better.   The Lake Forest one had a wait until about 10p for dinner.   The bar is small but good.

 

They have weak pours at the LF one, and not that I condone drinking and driving, but that's a trap of a location to leave from.

Def have a DD if you are going to this location.  Always had one when we went to hooters there, cops just wait for DUI's there.

Was at spring training this weekend, sign is still there and definitely gets you in a day drinking mood!

Yeah, just opened up not too long ago.  Saw the one in Anahiem on food network but never made it out.  Def hitting up the lake forest location sometime soon.  I don't know how long its going to last there, that spot has been a revolving door with the last 2 tennants being the library strip club and a hooters.

My favorite drinks depend on where I am drinking. 

Angels day games: Leinenkugel Summer Shandy

Angels night games: Fat Tire Amber Ale

Beer I have at home: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Beach/River/any water activity: XX lager or amber

Snow activities: Fireball Whiskey (I know not a beer but still my favorite snow drink)

Ducks games: Blue Moon if I get oggis pizza for dinner, pacifico if I get a burrito for dinner (Ducks need better beer choices)

Bar's: Lagunita's a little sumpin sumpin (if they have it)

I'm gonna go with Crosby, I think he will stay healthy in the remaining games.

If it looks like Perry isn't gonna resign we have to get a haul for him at the deadline.  I wish there was a way to know how much our chances of winning the cup this year go down without Perry on the team. 

Was in Arizona from Sat till early this morning.  0 wins in 5 games (3 Angels losses and the 2 Ducks shootout losses).  Perry's shot off the post for the win in the shootout was heartbreaking.

I really hope we can end up as a 5 or 6 seed in the West region.  I wanna see UCLA at staples center for the sweet 16 and elite 8!

Game 6 sec 518 game 7 sec 508, both with my pops.  Was 16 at the time, game 6 is still the my favorite sporting event I've been to with the Ducks clinching the cup a close 2nd and 13 to 9 coming in at 3rd.

Ducks Preds game was awesome, one of the most relaxing games I've been to since we had a large lead the whole way.  Walked in at the perfect timing to see Bonino score the 1st goal. 

I'm with Angelduck that if it looks like Perry isn't gonna resign we have to trade him. 

Can't wait for the game against the Wild tonight, hopefully we get another W at the Ponda!

If expanding to the west Seattle is definitely in play.

Personally I'd like to see them move phoenix to seattle, contract columbus and either of tampa/florida and have 14 teams a conference.

I love everything about this realignment for the west, 8 out of 14 teams make the playoffs compared to 8 out of 16 in the east.
