LOL Angels dropping prices again on ticketmaster...view mvp's now $25 + $6.25 ticketmaster fee.  Boy did the Angels misprice their tickets to begin with!

Great game last night...lots of Oiler fans in the building though.  Very nice to see the team get another win without Getzy!

I'm always amazed when I eavesdrop on other people's conversations at the Big A.  There are people in the stands who think Tim Salmon still plays for the Angels.  Last year somebody asked me if 1B Pujols was related to Albert Pujols with the Cardinals.  No joke.

Reminds me of a conversation I heard behind me at spring training.  This guy swore the Angels won the world series in 2003.  If I wasn't so hungover from the night before I probably would've chimed in at some point.

What a fun game to watch last night.  Even though the Kings outplayed the Ducks, it was nice to see the Ducks pick up the 2 pts without Getzy.  Now we are that much closer to locking up the division!

Pair in 419 row A down to 30 per ticket on stubhub...pretty sure thats under season ticket holder cost on those seats.

Prices have slowly been dropping on stubhub today...may be a good deal to be had an hour before the game or so.

Win another 7 games or so?

I'm looking at the number of tickets still on sale at Angels website and it appears they still have thousands of tickets unsold. Has Opening Day the last 2-5 years been a sell out? If opening day does not sell out that is not a good sign for the Angels Organization and Ball Park Revenue Especially with all the big signings. 

 

Is the variable pricing a bad idea? Is is better to sell out the stadium with standard pricing or to get a premium price for certain games but leave thousands of seats unsold?

Opening day last year was announced as a sell out but they had tickets available at the box office at game time that went unsold.  Years prior had all been sell outs because Angels didn't charge out the ass for opening day like they do now.  Another  problem is this year our opening day doesn't open the season and its on a Tuesday night instead of a Friday night.

Not if they keep losing.

Great game last night, such an enjoyable watch!  The building was pretty full last night too, especially for a Wednesday.  I'm thinkin we'll see a sellout tomorrow!

Next year, the Angels will have a Halo Kitty baseball bobblehead. 

Dodgers did Hello Kitty bobble last year.  They always sell out their Hello Kitty giveaways.

Anyone actually have or hear of any problems with people who bought e-tix off stubhub?  Yes Scott, 7 hours is ridiculous but stubhub and 714tickets have to love that 7hr cutoff for the exchange.
