  1. THat is so true. It actually could have been a blowout. Then I remembered how good KC's OutField is. But just one of those catches that would have scored 2 runs and put us up by 2 appeared to be a "look what I found" lucky catch.
  2. I can speak for the "AJ" eries and n What is funny is that I actually looked it up before I posted and found it as a word. I may have spelled it wrong.
  3. I can speak for the "AJ" series and no, We lost to the Chisox game 3 when Lackey gave up a 3 run bomb to Konerko early on and took the fans right out of the game.
  4. I was at the game; With Anaheim being the worst, the crowd behind home plate sucks in most stadiums worried about their smartphones and Panani. The crowd was rocking and I've been to a home Boston playoff victory. Much of the crowd did stand and cheer when Weaver had 2 outs 2 strikes. As the game went on and we crapped our pants each inning against a pitcher the Angels decided wasn't worth giving a contract to and it was obvious the fans grew frustrated. Judging a crowd that fails on all of their scoring chances isn't fair. They stood and cheered for the possible gamewinner which fizzled again. The Diamond club which is always being shown on TV needs fireworks up their @ss. I noticed Hambone's because of the sheer patheticism of the AB's with men on took life out of the crowd. Of course Camdem yards kicked ass, THE O's Scored 12 RUNS. Also, I have noticed for years now from TBS adjusts the crowd noise for each game. Eric Burns said a couple years ago, playing in Anaheim when with the A's, it's one of the loudest stadiums in BB once the fans get going(paraphrase). Weaver pitched playoff baseball and the lineup sucked.
  5. Oil companies didn't like Iraq's open public defiance of the petrodollar. I think in that regard mission was probably accomplished.
  6. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has a free pass to fund as much terror as they wish.
  7. Both sides of the conflict are being used terribly. Conflict , one of the great pillars of control.
  8. I agree HM, it's scattered but he's trying to pack a lot of info into 14 min. He's not just an old guy, Taylor is the "President of the National assos. of former border patrol agents". The thrust of his message is the diminishing lack of border control and what he implies as the possible upcoming repercussions as a result and the fact the he believes it's intentional. BTW, He was speaking for the the current border agents who had no information from the CDC, not he himself. I don't know what he says to be true but with the government track record of corruption, I have little reason to doubt him. I'm surprised you see him as having no credibiility.
  9. No Ammo, no support on the border to me is intentional and treason. This is Zach Taylor. Find out who he is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6lvCiLYIBM
  10. Use your head; maybe some common sense based upon all the past and current corruption.
  11. Also, we have seen the deterioration of the mainstream media in foriegn affairs to now be little more than a mouth piece for the corrupt State department. The good hard working American people have been lied to over and over with government using incompetence as an excuse, yet after bending the public over many still come back for more and get played.
  12. We have been lied to so many times regarding the events in the Middle east. Let them have a civil war.
  13. Unfortunately, Al-Qaeda(I'm sure everyone knows) originated out of American and British intelligence and supposedly got out of control but yes the people will still be better off without the presence of the west blowing their Sh*t in the weeds. Al-qaeda was not in Iraq before US intervention, Hmm. There will be a lot of problems, many of which the west exacerbated but they will have to work them out on their own now. I actually believe a whole country can run a goverrnment above and beyond al-qaeda, who our corrupt government has made out to appear much more powerful than they are.
  14. It should be a great opportunity for Iraq, a once thiving country with oil and agriculture to rise out of the ashes of Saddam(who the US had always supported) and worse, the devastation of "Shock and Awe". It's great that the people across the Middle East are finally overthrowing the post WWW2 dictatorships installed by the British and US. It needs to happen here.
  15. I agree. Hillary, just the man to fiinish the job. US economy is also becoming unstable as well as the corrupt middle east as we are simply the corrupt bully. Every US market is manipulated and corrupt. IMO the economy has no alternative but to crash in the next few years. Back on topic, I would think we will sniff for more war pretty soon.
  16. The US economy would have a big problem too. Most of the US cash cow opium orginates from Afghanistan. Roughly 14 years ago the Taliban started burning the poppy fields. It's all about money, drugs and petrodollars(Saudi Arabia); always has been. If it was about Terrorism the Saudis would have gotten the first bullet to the head.
  17. Also, considering who was facing us on the mound with a low pitch count and his dominance over us, I can understand fans giving up.
  18. Maybe I'm in a goofy mood but I got a good laugh reading it. Especially "I'm hitting .343!"
  19. I'm sure Pujols will have his good games but for the most part Scioscia have to be penciling in an over the hill player as our 3-4 hitter for a few more years.
  20. At least Bourjos was one of the best OF'ers in the game and could be used to shore up the defense, could bunt and made one heck of a pinch runner.
  21. This also disturbs me. In his early 30's over two years he went from being one of the most feared hitters in the game to an average guy with some power. Compared to the feared Pujols, he looks over weight and out of shape and is morphing into a GIDP machine. I know it's been brought up but It just may be possible he isn't 34 years old.
  22. Good point regarding the Blanton scenerio. Also, easier to use a quick hook on a guy only making 500k.
  23. IMO, we are pulling the plug too early on Santiago. His 3.5 ERA last year in about 140 innings and 3.3 the year before about 70 innings wasn't a fluke. He's got the ability. Hopefully Butcher can get him back on track and get him back in the rotation.
