    It would be different if they signed a better pitcher, like Saunders. Morales would have given some 1B depth since apparently Pujols isn't a full time first baseman anymore. Brendan Harris is the backup backup first baseman, not a lot of depth there.

    I think Jason Brennan does a good job. Jeff Biggs wasn't awful. Major improvements over Geoff Witcher, Rod Van Hook, Dave Denholm and whoever else KSPN used on travel days.

    Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread, I think Mark adds a lot to the show. The other day somebody asked about Hamilton and he kept harping aboot how Josh is a streaky hitter and even mentioned how Tim Salmon was a streaky hitter and would have stretches where you couldn't get him out and would have stretches where he would get himself out.

    I've actually googled that, and all I found was a reference from a different Mel (from Fullerton) from 2009 on the official board, that Mel from Diamond Bar apparently moved East and stopped calling.
