I kind of got burned out with the long winded calls from "Greg from Ventura" and "Dick from Whittier" a few years ago, but have not noticed them this year.
That's a terrible idea. They would have a huge advantage in their division (and in the league) by loading up on home games at the end.
Also, teams with warm climates and domed stadiums don't necessarily want extra April games because kids are in school and may not draw as well as summer.
The reason it didn't really make a whole lot of sense is why do you send down JB Shuck in the first place if you are not satisfied with the depth for a couple games. Plus, Bourjos is one of the few who has been hitting.
I would have walked Pujols to get the Hamilton. The Angels looked terrible tonight, despite the comeback win. So many failed opportunities with RISP.
Roth was amazing. IMO, He's better than 4 of our starters.

I remember when I saw the Angels play in Kansas City in 2004, John Lackey was partying it up at the Cheesecake Factory bar the night before his start. He gave up like 4 runs the next day.
