    This is the part that was so frustrating. As a team, you can't count him being in the lineup. Glad he's gone. Even though Texas isn't paying much, they have the emotional ups and downs with not knowing what to expect from him.

    So sorry for beating a dead horse, BUT I'll still say this. Was watching an episode of Intervention when this girl's family lays out how they will no longer allow this girl in their lives as long as she is using. She has to move out and won't be part of their family if she keeps using. This was part of her intervention. I guess you see where I'm getting at? The JDA is a joke.

    It's gotta be Texas. I'm sure Angels will at least try to grant his wish of a destination. Which he had a full no trade clause anyways, so he has to grant where he's going.

    Victor is fine, it's Gubi who needs to go. He rarely provides any real commentary. He will often predict a pitch like a fastball and it'll be a change up.

    Oh I remember Jeff saying something about this potentially being the first buyout since the luxury tax so it's unclear if it does. Last time when Neagle and Ponson had buy outs it was pre-luxury tax.

    Oh I remember when Aybar bunted for a single against Verlander in a no-hitter in the 7th. That might have been the last brush up the Angels have had against another team.

    Seems like there has been more bean ball going on this season. Makes me think, when was the last time the Angels got into a heated exchange with another team? I can remember a huge brawl back in the 90s against KC. I remember when Frank Robinson questioned a foreign substance on an Angels pitcher. Back when Jose Guillen had been traded to the Nats after his embarrassment with the Angels. What else have I missed?

    The good thing about last night is that Shoemaker beat himself. He could not locate his pitches. I wouldn't expect this to be a reoccurring issue with him.

    Not saying the Angels should have gone after Cruz, cause I too have a problem with the PEDs, but just frustrating how he the M's get him and he's hitting like Babe Ruth.

    This team just takes longer to heat up. These averages will not stay this low, which means a hot streak is on the horizon.
