Gang Related- On Hulu+. Loved the first season but there has been no word if they are going to renew it for a second season. I really like The Bridge. Can't wait to see the second season.

Yes......after all the constant moaning and groaning that happens on this board......Yes. I have been on this board for many years and sometimes it is unbearable to come here and read all of the negative things that is written. Some of the other threads that are started here shouldn't be started but they are. We are in first place this late in the season for the first time in many years and it feels good. Sorry if this was a bother to you.

I grew up watching Mork and Mindy. I used to love watching Mrs. doubtfire with my kids when they were young. Brilliant comedian/actor gone too soon.

Just finished the first season of The Bridge. I will give it a solid B+. I am looking forward to watching season 2.

I went to the hospital about 5 years ago because I had intense pain on the left side of my back. When I got to the hospital the pain subsided. They asked if I could pee in a cup for them and I said "I doubt it but I will try". I was able to pee in the cup and .....plink.....there it was. The entire process, from first bout of pin to finish, took around 2 hours. I got lucky. The doctor said that was the closest you will ever come to experiencing the pain of child birth. I explained that I had had Diverticulitis and he said "Oh.....nevermind. That may be worse than this".

I was in Seattle a few years ago for work and had bought tickets to go to the Mariners game because they were playing the Angels. I went down to Pikes Fish Market and ran into Terry Smith and Rex Hudler. I was wearing my Angels gear so they stopped me and asked if I would take a photo of the two of them. I did and we talked for a few minutes. Hud asked for my kids names and mine and said he would mention us on the broadcast that night. I called my wife and told her to DVR the game. Sure enough in the 8th inning he mentioned my kids names and that he had run into me and told my kids that daddy missed them and I would be home soon. It was very cool of Hud to do that. I don't mind the rock pile. I think bunting a runner over from second to third is worth the out.

So...... Why has baseball teams done it forever and continue to do it?? Because those base hits are so easy to come by?? I hear a lot of nonsense on this board but this "bunting in the 8th with a runner on second when we are up by 3 runs shouldn't happen" takes the cake!!

I guess stats should dictate everything they do on the field? Bunting has been a part of baseball for 100+ years because it WORKS!!!
