    The most walks he's ever had in 1 month with the Angels was 5, and he only did that 2 or 3 times. Now he already has 8 and there's still over a week left in April.

    I don't know about this. Nearly every pitcher pitching worse than career avg. and many hitters hitting below avg. Blame is first on the players then coaches and manager before the GM.

    Does this team have any? It seems every team knows the Angels hitter's weakness and exploits them, yet our pitchers get lit up by a Twins team that was hitting around the mendoza line.

    Butcher's ML coaching career prior to joining Angels: 1 year as pitching coach under Maddon in 2006. Not good enough for Maddon, but apparently good enough for Scioscia and a team with playoff aspirations every year.

    Anibal Sanchez should've been the main target. Dipoto should've known Grienke's greedy ass was gonna be a difficult sign. That and at least giving Hunter a qualifying offer to get a draft pick. If he agrees to it, great we have him for one more year and Hamilton never happens.

    So... I looked up Butcher's coaching history and he was a pitching coach for 1 year under Maddon in 2006(no prior ML coaching ). Apparently not good enough for Maddon is good enough for Scioscia.

    I had this exact same thought earlier today. The money saved would just be a bonus, the real benefit would be not feeling obligated to watch since it's paid for.
