I paid a little less than Ticketmaster are currently charging for my 515 seats on StubHub a week ago (they're going for a bit over 40 bucks right now on Ticketmaster if you count extra charges) for tonight. Prices have dropped drastically on StubHub though, could have got same seats for a little less than half of what I paid. The catch is though that if I'd bought them last minute today I'd have to pick them up since they don't really do printout tickets any more. That can kind of be a hassle but it's likely what I'll do in the future now, just buy tickets day of and pick them up from StubHub offices so I can continue to buy under face value.

I had a busy weekend Friday-Sunday and didn't see much of the games, outside of the first hour of Saturday's game. We'll be back to winning this week since I'll be watching. My expert analysis will be posted as well.

Hamilton is going through the same thing Pujols went through last year, it's mental. Playing against his former team so quickly has made it worse. Hopefully he comes out of it during the first homestand. I doubt his slump will last as long as Pujols' because Hamilton doesn't have the pressure of having to carry the team on his shoulders, especially with Albert getting off to a good start this year and not to mention Trout being an established star.

Pujols looked great today. I'm sure not only the 2 home runs, but the 3 INTENTIONAL WALKS had to be good for his confidence.

Yeaaaah, that was quicker than last year.

I was first exposed to the Angels in 1999, but my first game wasn't until 2000 when I was 8 years old. The 2002 World Series victory was even sweeter because the first couple of years I was a fan I never would have envisioned them making the playoffs, let alone winning the World Series. I remember the first couple of years being a fan going to school everyday in the infamous blue Disney Angels logo jacket and got some crap for it. Revenge was great in 02.

This joke's premise is the ridiculousness of listing a ray killing Steve Irwin right next to the Rays' goal to the the World Series. That's why I laughed, it's so over the top and unexpected.

Haven't seen his performance yet but numbers look good, especially in Texas. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Hamilton really didn't get that ridiculous of a contract if you compare his deal to other sluggers out there. If the Rangers really wanted to keep him they could have, they obviously didn't.
