Yep.  Watching this series clarifies the level of suckage the pitching staff has.  It is refreshing to see pitching and not some guy on the mound throwing the same pitch in the same spot.

Molina is worth every penny.  Boy, I wish we had a Molina.....oh wait we did.  Both were allowed to leave for Scioscia's pet.....

Many people are critical of dumbass moves by Dipoto.......I think he is simply living up to the tradition.

Balfour is such a punk. He pulled the same stuff against Orlando Cabrera a few years ago, and something he did this year really pissed Pujols off.

This will help me for next year.  The problem was not the Angels underperforming...it was me.  My expectations were too high.  With moves like this, it allows me to have much lower expectations and therefore a more enjoyable baseball experience.

A real fan would take the time to read all of the pages.   Just sayin'.

I am not sure which feeling is greater-my disgust at Ortiz's douchebag antics or my desire for the Angels to have a player like Ortiz who can play big in big time games.

I remain unemotional and unattached to the Ranger's situation.  I am an Angels fan and must focus on brooding.

Scioscia is a strange guy. He plays Cowgill for a few games in a row and he puts up 0-4 and 0-6 type numbers, yet he remains in the lineup. Then he sits him today after his performance last night? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Shouldn't a player be rewarded for having a great game? 

 

Just noticed that Green is also not in the lineup. He had a 3 RBI game last night. Scioscia sits the two players that drove in most of the runs last night. Weird.

I am managing my retirement the same way...it has to work because Mike is a genius.

How bout not talking about how another team might not make the playoffs. Like the Angels and their fans have any room to talk. We were out of the race by April. But sure go ahead Texas may or may not make the playoffs lets all point and laugh. While the Angels finish 10 plus games below them.

The Angels should limit trades to only teams with GMs dumber than ours.

For what Weaver did to resign with the Angels, I am cool with his performance.  Number ones are getting very expensive.

Mike Scioscia would sit Babe Ruth against left handers if given the chance.

Platooning at this point is incomprehensible.  What is the advantage?  Play the kids and see what they can do.......period.

However, I approve of sitting Hamilton.  I think he should become the Angel Stadium Greeter from this day forward, at least he would be working for his millions.
