Above is my POST in 2021.
In 2006, 18 years ago, Ippei had been looking for a job, and the chef hired him.
Ippei had stated that he graduated from the UC Riverside in 2007.
I was a little suspicious of about his background, whether he was attending the university while working. But I thought the Angels would have looked into his background when hiring him, so I left my doubt open.

The following was from an article of a Japanese sports paper:
Until last season, I had met Mizuhara several times by chance at a Starbucks near Angel Stadium. When ordering, the name he gave to the clerk was always "Jay." At the time, he said, "I thought it would be difficult for people in the United States to call me 'Ippei'."

In Japanese, it is possible to converse using syntax that omits the subject. The listener must judge who is the subject based on the situation, but even native Japanese speakers can sometimes make mistakes.
I will translate Ohtani's remarks about his first home run ball into English.
"Upon returning to the bench, I learned that a staff member had spoken to the fan who caught my first home run ball. She had decided to return it to me. It's a very special ball for me, so I'm incredibly grateful."

FromJapan got a reaction from Taylor in When will Roki Sasaki be available for MLB?
Some quotes from the article below:
Just when you think the Dodgers can't possibly sign any more stars, several GMs believe that Roki Sasaki, 22, one of the best pitchers in the world, already has plans to sign with the Dodgers after the season.
“Every team in baseball wants this guy," one GM told USA TODAY Sports, “but there's no way he's going anywhere else but the Dodgers. We all know it."

FromJapan got a reaction from Tank in Ippei fired by Dodgers after being accused of theft by Ohtani’s attorney’s
Ippei will be introduced in a chapter titled "People Who Support Success" in the English textbook for third-year junior high school students from the Japanese publisher KYOIKU-SHUPPAN, which is scheduled to be adopted from spring 2025.
The company commented, "We have no choice but to consider the possibility of replacing the content."

I am healthy but busy with personal matters.
Most of the reports on this issue follows that of the United States. The two Dodgers vs. Padres games held in Seoul were broadcast live in Japan. Before the first game, many Japanese fans noticed that Ippei looked thinner and more exhausted.

FromJapan reacted to Chuck in 大谷翔平 - The Official Shohei Ohtani Thread
Because he's employed by ESPN.
One of the things I pride myself the most of in terms of AngelsWin.com is turning down ESPN, Fox Sports and other large Blog networks who were trying to either purchase us or have us move our content and members under their banner and on their networks.
Independent all the way baby!
